When you start buying Vintage Baseball Cards from the mid to late 1970s, certain rookie cards become more affordable! More interesting, some rookie cards of hall of famers are actually less than some other hall of famers from the same set.
This video was a bit different in that I didn't set a benchmark. I picked out cards that came closest to $100 without going over. I was a bit surprised, but I feel like y'all could fill in the explanations in the comments if you choose to.

Cool Video - The Winfield rookie does seem like a great deal. I always loved the 1975 Topps set - the variety of colors, and some nice rookies.

Hi Sammy, I am enjoying watching this series. I think the 77 Ryan and 78 Murray cards are a great deal at those prices. Keep up the great work.

That 75 Robin Yount seems like the best deal for under 100$ for me with a limited card budget I found a few baseball hall of famers cards for 20 $ a little worn but not to bad. I always enjoy the channel.

It’s interesting to see the difference between the Yount and the Brett.

Was going to ask this in your next live-stream.. So, in case I miss the stream or forget. When I was at the Mid-Atlantic card show. I bought a card, it had 2 sticker prices. One on the back. Another on the front. The back says $370. The front had $340. I don't know if that's normal or common thing to have 2 prices, on a card, but I digress. The vendor look like he's maybe in his 60's or probably 70's. Claimed the card at the table...belongs to his son. Who wasn't there. So, the vendor calls (or pretends to talk to) his ''son'' on the phone, and moves away from me, and my Dad, so we can't really hear. Didn't seem like he wanted us, too. There might not be a son, the ''conversation'' on the phone lasted 30 seconds or so. Very brief. The vendor then gets off the phone and says: Yea. I'm just doing $320. Nothing less. I had offered $300. Honestly, I was hoping for under $300. But gave the $320 anyway. My negotiating skills are trash. Vendor says, according to his 'son' that's what they sold for on eBay. Whatever I guess. Both myself and dad too, were skeptical. Do you think this story is kind of sketchy? I don't know if I should buy from him again...

The mid 1970's (outside of '75) Topps just don't seem to have as much hobby love. George Brett, is one of the rookie cards, I would like to add to my PC though.. Robin Yount rookie has good value, too. Well, most of the ones from the mid to late '70... should be able to get, Ozzie Smith, not in the video, but his rookie card, in an SGC 7 for around $100. PSA 7 probably around $150. I love the Eddie Murray though. Bought mine last year. In a ''7.'' I think my copy looks pretty good for the grade, too. Great video. Thanks, Sammy.

Great 70s cards Sammy. Could you do pre-war. Like guys who have some significance that aren’t HOFers or cards that are HOFers that are just cheap

I’m not the biggest pre war guy. I may have to ask around for that.

Ask the guy who, Sammy used to voice over. Or Orlando from A Collectors Dream. Or Rick from oddball cards. Dan, Dan's Vintage Baseball PC. Dave bluejacket66. Plenty of people to pick the brain of, Keegan. But for under $100; with pre-war your options are probably much more limited.
