i saw frank zappa in the 60s there. supposedly, dr john played there too and took an axe to the stage. i used to live in a house next door to the lyric. it was on oliver st.

I LOVE the Lyric, worked for the Baltimore Opera Company in the early 80's and had my wedding reception in the lobby! A beautiful August sunset was the highlight of the party!

I remember the Lyric as the place where we from Western High School graduated. I think, The class of 1966 was the last Western class to us it as it's auditorium for graduation
