Just received my ISL-31, the "turtle" with the blue dial. Amazing watch! It looks much sleeker on your wrist than you would think given the thickness of 16.5mm. Just remember that some of that is made up by the crystal and the case back, which is domed. The profile of the watch when worn really isn't bulky. It fits my 7 1/2" wrist perfectly. I only removed 2 links and then performed a micro-adjustment with the scissor clasp. Perfection. Service was outstanding too!

Killer stuff as always. Would REALLY love to see an Islander Dive watch with some red (red dial/black insert or red insert/black dial). Hardly ever see red on watches.

Beautiful watches Marc. I love the turtle style and clean, simple dials. The black with orange highlights really pops. Unfortunately I can't wear them because of larger diameter. I know you're going to make a 38-40mm sooner of later for us guys with smaller wrists. Now make it a date only or no date (NH38) like the 6105 and I'll buy in a heartbeat. Best regards.

Fantastic new watches. Not that I can afford any more at this time, but they are great. I'd love an Islander Mini Turtle without a cyclops. If that's possible.

Black watches are not really my thing, but DLC is the only way I would even consider one. I had a PVD black watch/bracelet years ago and was bummed at how fast the plating on the clasp wore through. Kudos for doing it right Marc!😍

I received my ISL-03 yesterday.... My first Islander watch. Wow! My ISL-18 comes Saturday. Giving that to my kid brother, he turns 50 in August. I may have to give it a trial run first. They're beautiful watches. Thanks Marc

Far be it from me to correct you Marc, after all, you are the successful manufacturer and all around watch good guy and I'm just a long time collector and Island watch fan, but in all the years I've been collecting, when any watch was referred to as a "Panda" it was because they had white dials with black or dark colored sub-dials, (or less frequently, black or dark colored dials with white sub-dials). When viewed head-on, they are somewhat reminiscent of an actual panda's face, hence the nickname. The watches you are referring to as pandas are simply white dialed watches. VERY NICE white dialed watches but still .... only white dial watches.

Have you thought of doing a none diver islander, maybe an alpanist case or a sarb033 case. That would look awesome.

Any plans on an ISL-26 and 34 hybrid!? The full lumed white dial looks like it would pair well with the blacked out DLC case.

Gorgeous white SKX type Islander! What the Mako USA should've been. I had to return that white dial Orient because it has a black chapter ring that made the 42mm seem MUCH smaller. Nice job, Marc!

I like the Islander watches - they seem very nicely made but to be honest I fail to see why people buy basically Seiko replicas for.. well the same price. The SKX I get - discontinued and all but the others are Samurai and Turtle (well somewhat smaller) design copies. No hate or offence what so ever - it is just a bit interesting to me how it worked so well - Great job Mark! Also I would like to say that I enjoy your videos informative and well presented!

Nice choice of colors. Hope you bring some of those to 38mm. I know you like your watches big but everyone is different and what they are comfortable wearing. Some really nice designs you created. It would not surprise me if your Ilander lineup outsells most of what you carry.

Does the panda turtle have black around the indices like the panda skx? On the website they look black but here they look chrome.

Agree everyone needs a DLC in their collection. Think I may have found mine as ive been looking for Seiko or Orient for a while. I also have an eye on one of your aviators too so may pull both pins at the same time :-)

I have the ISL01. Love the watch. Hopefully the ISL29 or 35 goes on sale during Black Friday :-). The Pandas look nice!! Wish the Panda SKX would come with the Coin edge bezel and double dome like the Panda Turtle. @Marc, any plans to change that?

hey mark, is there any accuracy check on these islanders? i'm planning to purchase a couple of these but from my past experience with the 6r and 4r, their accuracy can be pretty inconsistent.

Make an Islander no-date at 40mm or less and I'll buy one.

These watches are brilliant. Marc is getting increasingly effective at separating me from my money. I'll chime in to express my interest in an Islander version of the Mini-Turtle, which feels like an incredibly underutilized design.

Just received ISL18. Very happy with it. I’ve been wanting an all black watch every day watch. The Isl34 may be my first choice. Can you give me a hint if a white dial dress watch is in my future. That is what I want most for my collection. Many brand’s dress watches are a little too big.

I really like the Panda Dial Islander, I think it would make a great alternative to the White Orient Mako USA II which is really hard to find these days

I'm so confused by the calendar function on the duo. On the bottom it says the 16th is on Thursday but at the top it says it's on Tuesday. And also, why are the dates upside down on *both the top and bottom*? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills looking at this watch.

Are the hour marker surrounds on the 43mm white dial SKX-like Islander a glossy black or silver/chrome? It was hard to tell from the video. On the white dial Turtle cased Islander they looked like silver hour surrounds. New Islanders look great Marc. Marc that white dial 43mm SKX Islander in the black DLC case/bracelet would be a killer combination! Do the same white dials in the 38mm Islanders please (both Stainless steel and black DLC)! You’re going to be costing me lots of money and are dashing any whimsical ideas I had of downsizing my watch collection. At the same time though you’re keeping me from buying Swiss luxury watches which is probably a good thing. $299 for these is insane value.

Hello, I am looking to get into watches. I have a budget of around $250, and need some advice. I really like the vintage look of some chronographs. I would really like an automatic, or mechanical watch. I want to keep it for a while, so I think a mechanical would be best, as I am also learning to appreciate the craftsmanship. I also have a small wrist, so I am thinking 39mm or maybe 38mm. I would love any suggestions!
