PS5 VERSION WAS CAPTURED ON PERFOMANCE MODE. PS5 PERFOMANCE VS VISUAL MODE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-N1eZiVraTkk.html Lets hope that PS4 version will be fixed in future updates. In my opinion the game itself is great, the PS4 version just needs to be fixed quickly, but let's be honest, the newer game is, the worse it looks on PS4, because the console is 8 years old and new games have high spec requerments, this console gets old
So how can the PS4 perfectly run Spider-Man, God of War etc, but when it comes to Security Breach, a far less challenging game to run especially due to the cartoonish appearance, it struggles. They shouldn't have just ported the PC version to PS4, as shown by the cursor on the pause menu, and should have modified so it could run on PS4. Like Flight Sim, its ported over, but they did take their time to modify it so it could run successfully on Series X. Or they could just not include it on the PS4. Cyberpunk fell into the same trap by having a challenging game on an older console, and shouldn't have promised it to work, as that is false advertising. Incredibly dissapointed in Steelwool
I REAAAAALLY wish I saw this before I bought the game on PS4. Like I'm enjoying the gameplay loop but it is insane how stark a difference there is. Just the save points alone!
The PS4 can perfectly handle the game without problems (as it can run much heavier games). The problem is just the optimization. I think they will definitely fix it. Also because the game is anyway good.
@@Kenimasi me too... anyway there aren't many PS5 around, so i'm sure they'll be optimizing it for the PS4 soon. (Also because the game is technically not heavy for a PS4.)
I was actually shocked. Like I get that it's not the PS5 but I at least expected it to NOT look like a shoddy port to a far inferior console. This is kind of embarrassing.
Because RDR2 was optimized for its peak performance on Xbox one and ps4 because it was not being added to ps3 or Xbox 360. Security Breach prioritized Xbox series x and ps5 performance
We're incredibly bothered by this. It really feels like they just lowered the resolution and did bare minimum to make sure the game could run. I don't regret our purchase and there's good times to have still, but this is just...blurry with a side of choppy. PS4 isn't that old and you have high quality games on it.
Exactly. I'm pretty disappointed with it. The whole time I'm like " this is the same system that runs God of war 4, spiderman, and horizon zero dawn WITHOUT PROBLEMS. But this simple ass game is having this much trouble???"
@@bobthedopeman7327 this game is riddled with bugs outside of this. Take Vanny, for example… She’s supposed to appear when you’re in one place too long, but a coding error makes it so she only shows up in scripted events. One of the main threats reduced to a minor inconvenience you see five times.
@@13slot28 Me too, the game is unplayible, and i don't know why, the last of us 2 is more hard to run and y runs better than this game, i don't know why, but i hope steel whool studios could fix this fast
ATTENTION!!!!! Due to the DLC update the PS4 version of the main game has been updated to look more like the ps5 version idk if it’s just my ps4 or if it’s worldwide but I’m just informing you
The PS4 port feels like Skyrim on the PS3 all over again with its performance issues. Hopefully it’ll be fixed soon, as this game has less graphical fidelity than other games on PS4 such as Spider-Man 2018, Ratchet And Clank 2016, Resident Evil Village, and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider. And those games I mentioned are well optimized as they run a constant 30 FPS compared to the current state of the FNAF Security Breach port on PS4 with its constant FPS drops.
Sorry about that im planning to get it for Christmas but now im starting to get second thoughts and get a ps5 abd get security breach , or there can be a graphics and fixing bugs update before Christmas
Thank fuck I’m getting a ps5 for Christmas. I’m still playing through the game on ps4 but it’s nice to know that I’m not the only one having this issue
Remember what the developer said on the interview with Dawko? They will work with bugs as soon as the game gets released. Besides, 15 people (correct me if I'm wrong), worked on the game. I'm positive that the game will be extremely enjoyable once every bug is fixed. I'm having a blast, but oh boy am I will be addictive to this game once the FPS is fixed.
@@Jxl.S0cal yeah, but a lot of the community was pressuring them to release it early because it kept getting delayed so they probably didn’t want to wait any longer
I have it on the PS4 and when I first played it, I was a bit disappointed. I thought those were the actual graphics for a while there until I saw videos with much better graphics. I really hope they fix this so that I can enjoy every detail in the game. The game is still fun and amazing even though the graphics aren’t as good as they should be.
The lag is very common especially when loading into areas. The save area is little pixel cubes And i keep getting stuck in hiding spots which stops me being able to play.
The PS4 is still a great system... Hell, look at the conversion from the PS3 to PS4 of GTA 5... That game held up on the older gen and I think still holds up a bit today... This? Is like day and night... The PS4 can handle so much more...
I agree. I really really look forward to future patches tho! The PS4 PRO in particular could handle this game so much better. Thinking of getting the game on mine. Do you recommend it? Do you think it runs better on the pro model?
So I have a PS5 as of right now and I had Security Breach on the PS4. I just transferred the data of the game on the PS4 to the PS5. On the PS5 there’s two versions of the game. Theres a PS4 and PS5 version. Do both have the same graphics but different optimizations?
Is the PS4 version playable now or dose it still have problems ? Because I only have the PS4. I know this video was uploaded 2 weeks ago at the time I posted this comment
What’s funny is that an update file was released shortly after the game released so, ps4 got a tiny graphic update but still somethings are not totally terrible
They're working on the performance issues right now all of the shitty textures and stuff so I would recommend that you hold your money to what you paid for for now until you get the update. Quit being so quick to judge things be patient
@@stratejic1020 wym stop being so quick to judge things, yh imma be quick to judge a NEW GAME with shit graphics and you would to if you spent 41$ on it, like how is everyone else’s graphics better than mine and I’m sitting here with damn play-do, Tf.
@@Vonntyy you do realize it was originally going to be a fucking ps5 exclusive right? You should be happy about the fact that it released on old gen lmao
@@soltheman7982 Old gen? You people act like the PS4 came out in 1995, regardless when the PS4 came out if the game is going to be on that platform it should still be expected to run smoothly and have good graphics or at least decent graphics this game has horrible graphics. However I’ll wait for the update, also how are you people getting mad us for being upset when we spent OUR money 🙄
Yeah i know the Graphic are bad . But hey , Its the First time FNAF turn into Open world , and Releasing it on PC and Console at the same time . just wait the update , Maybe the game could be better . FYI : Pc has problem with the FPS too
This game could be better on ps4 but now its just a mess... really, RDR2 is bigger than fnaf SB and still looks pretty good on ps4, and i know RDR2 is different game but c'mon.
At this point, I am not surprised. From a stand point, they gave the newer consoles more love because it is that transition phase and realistically, more people are going to have a newer generation of console by the end of next year. It's kinda just one of those shady practices in the video game industry that we have normalized, just like games releasing too early then y'all complain about how unfinished it is. Probably just means that you shouldn't preorder on a whim anymore, wait until the developers/publishers/etc decide they want to listen to QA and fix and polish the games before release. It's just a cycle and I wouldn't be surprised if the gaming industry as a whole takes a hit because of the lack of quality and high prices for this nonsense. Money and deadlines are really killing the joy of gaming as a whole when I have to spend 60+ dollars on a game that works only half of the time and don't even get me started on the Battle Passes. 10 to 40 dollars for a handful of cosmetics and no real fresh content. Then when they do drop the DLC (whether it be maps, a gameplay enhancement, or something that could really improve the game), they fumble it and rush that out before players lose interest and find a new game they can throw 20 dollars at for a skin pack.
I desperately hope for a graphics update to the Ps4 I know this game was made with the Ps5 being THE experience for the game but seriously this looks like a bad mobile game. There are literal masterpieces of games on the Ps4 and you're telling me a company who had years to work on this can't even render a GIF on a save point in high quality. They were most definitely rushed. I enjoy this game alot despite the challenges but quality shouldn't be something I'm definitely noticing dipping more and more. Also that's not even it. On my stream I loaded into the atrium and the lights and everything are loading in after I get spawned. It's abysmal especially when I waited so long for it. The glitches I can semi enjoy when I comes to game play as many deaths can be avoided by using them but stuff like the map not loading in immediately is too bad. I love Security Breach and while this Ps4 is for an outdated console, it doesn't excuse a shitty mobile game port. They can't even render a fucking gif but games like Spider-Man Ps4 exist ok.
I have a PS4 pro, and it looks like an early Xbox 360 game, it’s choppy, things disappear then reappear, textures won’t load, stuff won’t render, and it’s buggy with teleportation with the security bots, I don’t understand how I can play the newer cods great without issues and they look and run amazing, but how this game runs with how it LOOKS, really surprised and disappointed me.
bro it’s so bad. i’ve clipped through the map so many times now because not even the floor renders and my screen freezes so much. it’s honestly disappointing
I just got my ps5 and saw I could free upgrade this game to ps5 and it’s finally playable. I stopped playing it on the ps4 due to the massive lag/stuttering. Wasn’t a fun experience not sure if it’s been sorted out yet. Hopefully the ps5 starts producing more so more people can get them! Took me from release date to June 2022 to get one
So my PlayStation4 can run read dead redemption 2 just fine and the graphics are fine but not this… I’m really disappointed on how the PS4 version came out. I get that the console is getting old but still… I Really hope they fix the quality on PS4 soon…
@@randomgamingclips2108 no Problem, by the Way its kinda funny that security breach does have on PC, ps4 and ps5 performance and glitch Problems But games like Resident evil Village work perfect With no glitches or performance Problems 🤣👍
I honestly just keep playing the game, the graphics don't bother me too much, it's about the gameplay, not the graphics, for me it doesn't matter, but I don't know about other people.
I’m So Happy I’m Getting The Game On The Ps5 Bc I’ve Played It On The Ps4 and Just look At Glam Chicas Difference, Helpys, And The Last One There Is A Huge Diffrence
Anything's better than the PC version for me right now. It was running great and then the patch last night cut my framerate by like 70% and it still looks mediocre.
I can’t help but worry this will push for the new console the more awful PS4 ports are released. I love my Xbox One and PS4 still and with the games I’ve played on them I know the quality could be so much better
Man, I mean, just look Miles Morales and Ghost of Tsushima, that games make my PS4 sound like a plane turbine but runs perfectly and smooth with stunning graphics. This game just show how lazy or the bad work of some developers not putting interest on their games.
It's weird. It's really weird. Somehow in Ps4 the shadow is a bit realistic as seen in 1:10 you can see Freddy's shadow but not in Ps5? They really need to patch both port consoles cuz the graphics looks like it belongs from Ps3
I bought the PS4 version immediately after seeing how it ran and was a tad disappointed (there has to be something they can do) the PS4 does so much better then this come on now
At least y'all have a decent frame rate. My PC barely manages 20 fps and takes a literal minute to load. Had to turn the specs down to get at least 30 fps. TBF it's not a PC built for gaming, but still...
I literally got to the final cutscene after beating Springtrap. And I died. Meaning I had to restart the boss battle again after winning. PS4 version is a mess
i dont think they realised that the console is 8 years old, suprsingly this clip on ps4 is better than ps5 by ray tracing or reflections or something like that 0:59
@@balkaba3927 yes, because its perfomence mode that runs the game at 60fps, but without reflections and shadows as you can see here too 1:17, (they can still show up like here 2:06 on the left and right). If you turn on Visual mode on PS5, there will show up some kind of ray tracing and the game will run at 30fps
@@balkaba3927 Its an 8 years old console yes but it's not weak, and there are hundreds of games that looks way better than this and runs better and even at 60fps but this game is just unacceptable that it even looks like this on PS4 talk less of how it runs because the framerate issues are just...
@@marguya4643 yea, people who are saying this console is weak, really have never played the console themselves, its a really solid console, even the same with the ps3
@@randomgamingclips2108 can you compare how long it loads in, because if they both load in similarly or the same time, that can explain the fps drops, steel wool didn't realized that ps4 loads in really fast, explaining why the fps is so bad
I always thought the graphics and frame drops were my internet but apparently it happens for everyone on PS4. Also I feel like the story should be redone it made no sense
guys dont forget that the ps4 version had to be shipped without all of the finished textures so it could be released on time, the game will be updated soon with the full textures like the save slot ones
I don't understand. It's 2021, and it's an indie game. If my PS4 can run MK11, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 60 frames, how can a brand new Fnaf game struggle to run at 30? To me, this is unacceptable. Companies need to stop releasing unfinished games and fixing them later. This game was first announced two years ago! TWO YEARS! And it's unfinished? I don't think fan games take nearly as long, and some of them look incredible! This is inexcusable, and I don't understand how it can be defended. People need higher expectations from the franchise that rewrote horror games. People need higher expectations for video games in 2022.
@@randomgamingclips2108 That doesn't mean shit, the game is a messy shit, just admit. The games is unfinished, and for the perfomance the game doesn't even look good. Why fnaf fanbase can admit that the release was a mistake
@@damagedsfm2468 tbh I seriously thought Steel Wool is a group of developers who just want to make a cool game without a desire for money, they were building high hype for the players, but yeah, we can all agree, that PS4 version kinda suck for now, until they fix it
play tlou2 and resident evil 8,mw2019,bocw,vanguard it runs 60fps on PS4 with no frame drops and ofc this games have better graphics than this FNAF game yet struggle to run at 30fps, it should be 60fps they need to optimize this game more!
I’m getting a ps5 one because I always wanted it for the better experience but somewhat for security breach aswell I have a ps4 but can wait to get the ps5 and play this game
PlayStation 4 really needs a patch to Improved Graphics from this game It needs an Update or more like It needed to be Optimized In the Upcoming Updates even though the Console Is very old
Ok so it's not just my ps4 that blurs out the little cartoon on the save screen that sucks dont see any reason why the ps4 version would look so much different
You also are playing on a PlayStation 4 and 8-year-old console at this point it's getting old it's graphics hardware soon won't be able to run anything today. When you get a PlayStation 5 exclusive game on a PlayStation 4 don't expect it to look absolutely amazing it's considered the old gen now. They're working on patching it up a little bit though on PlayStation 4 and making it look better because they are just now aware of these issues and I'm assuming they didn't know about it.
@@stratejic1020 Dont wanna be rude or anything but how can my ps4 run Ghost of tsushima and other heavy graphic games perfectly fine but this game is pixelated af?
@@stratejic1020 The ps4 being 8 years old isn't a good excuse. There are plenty of modern games, some of which have been in development for far less time than security breach, that play and look 10x better than this on the ps4. Security breach was never a Ps5 exclusive game either (otherwise it wouldn't be out on the ps4 to begin with).
@@superxmario128 most of those games were using an older engine which it's very weird how game development works. Older engines for some reason are usually able to handle more because they don't have a high level of detail other things on older consoles. Security breach has a lot of small detail that are very well detailed so the PS4 is using up a majority of it's rendering power on those small details while other games don't so they can focus more on like screen space reflections and textures and stuff like that and as far as I know the texture quality and the weird pixelation is a bug that is being worked on. And I'm sorry we don't have 3055 graphics like in your world.
@@superxmario128 by the way it also has to do with map size and models and all that stuff things that your mind doesn't even go to when you start complaining about graphics. The PlayStation 5 can render more on screen at once and still handle all of the background stuff while the PlayStation 4 simply cannot. An example of this would be the PlayStation 5 can handle high detailed models from a far distance but the PlayStation 4 cannot it would cause extreme lack and in order to do that they would have to lower the quality on other textures and lighting and stuff. There's a lot more to gain development and graphics development than just good graphics and bad graphics.
