I love my Deadlock except for one main complaint. I absolutely hate the pocket clip. I’d love to see a deep set clip, where the majority, if not all of the knife is hidden in my pocket. To me, the Heretic Colossus pocket clip is best in that regard, so I’d love to see a deep carry option. Beyond that, just to be the first full lockup otf was such a needed innovation in the knife world. Can’t help but say thanks Gavin and Grant!
I've owned all 3 models BTW. Tried to carry and use all 3. When the model A came out, it was my auto knife dream come true. Tried to use it, blade wouldn't maintain lock up.... despite a few trips back to Gavin. I feel the model A was basically the ' proof of concept and recover $$" model. I know some will see that as harsh, but my experiences say so. It looked good and locked open solid.... but it was just a for show knife. The model B basically fixed the lock design flaw. The model C further cleaned up the knife, made it more carry friendly and what I call an actual user auto. I have cut many heavy duty, triple wall cardboard boxes down with mine and can testify that the lockup stays solid, whereas you could literally spin tap on your palm the model A out of lockup. Love my model C and Gavin and crew have been amazing through my journey through the models.
Model b vs model c . I love the look of the b , the quality metal look . Better colours looks more premium . But the only drawback is the blade to handle ratio . If you could tell me which one to pick if price isn’t an issue that would really help
@@anonymousbrowsing2909 Nothing personal, but people complaining about "blade to handle ratio" haven't seen inside these knives. There's basically zero wasted space or way to balance it out more than it already is.

A question. Today we have flipper’s that can be opened lightning fast. Heck even a Spyderco Para 2 fires lightning fast with the right flick. Flipper’s and Spyderco like knife’s are more reliable than any Auto ever could be. What exactly are Auto knives for? What advantage to they bring?
Haven’t even watched the video yet but I love the title . these deadlocks are overpriced and overhyped . So many otfs on the market the deadlock k doesn’t even make it on my list , ugly af , horrible aesthetics , weak action , ugly blade .
All OTF have a less than desirable blade to handle ratio. I’ve got the Ti model and it’s great…. But I’m having to send it in. The chassis top plate seems warped.
Sweet fucking knife. I have the model C with DLC blade/accents and tumbled Ti inlays. Going forward they will be doing all Ti model Cs. I am all over that.
@@Adamas11 If the blade was a little longer and wider I might go for it. But the blade is literally the aize of an ultratech. I need something more impressive for that kind of cash lol

The white lettering billboarding on the side of the knife, is hideous looking. There is nothing about the Hawk OTF's that make them worth their table price.
I can't comment on people's likes or tastes, however, I'm not seeing the real value in this knife besides a status symbol and for some protective purposes. At this price point, like you mentioned, I'd expect to get a custom ask on what I want period. Make it happen by any means. And yes for this price you could have 5 different otfs that do anything and everything you need and at least look better with the same quality of materials as well as maintenance options from the company. Maybe there upper options as you mentioned are enough to satisfy that but again at that price point it's a piece of jewelry. 😅 Edit: This is coming from someone who sees knives almost purely for practical purposes I do have my niche buys in my collection.
