GM makes a killing of these trucks. True value is probably under 80k. But fair value is only what the market is willing to pay for it so 110k it’s the fair price. I wouldn’t pay 40k for one of these 😂
Yes I would!!! I drove one of my friends sons to the prom in one and the experience was amazing!!! Definitely roomy there were 2 serts of dates with Huge prom dresses and every1 was confortable
Same as my Hyundai Santa Fe. Heated. Reclines. Shades to pull up. Friends caddy that’s a year newer doesn’t have cooled front seats. Or heated back seats. Or pull up back shades. Or back seats the recline. Mine does. Lol. 40k cheaper too.
@@eddiefniiiCan your Sante Fe fit 7 full size adults and their luggage, does it have a 36-speaker surround sound system, can it tow a trailer? can it drive itself on the highway while towing a 5,000 lb trailer? lol No. neither will it look as good nor drive as well while doing any of that.
I have three Cadillac Escalades a 2007, a 2018, and a 2022 Escalade. The 07 has 387k, the 2018 has 240k and the 2022 has 14k. The only SUV I would buy no matter the cost. The new 2022/23 Escalade is just unbelievable 💪💯🤑
Even Holywood superstars and.other international artists and celebrities who can afford to buy Roll Royces, Bentleys or MB G-class wagon still prefer to ride in an Escalade.
@@jaredmethuselah5813I think thats because Escalade is the biggest and most flashy one but for half the price (And half the quality). Among all the cars you counted Cadillac is the one that says "Hey look at me and my full of chrome and loud vehicle" most.
@@kylemcleish8270 Highlander is smaller however in terms of actual quality, reliability and fit in finish Cadillac doesn’t come anywhere close to Toyota especially when it comes to reliability and resale value.
@@noahschaub1984 this isn't yesteryear. the escalade uses the same engine same the tahoe which lasts AT LEAST 250k and will keep going. plus toyota interiors are entirely plastic. even bringing up "fit and finish" in a toyota is hilarious.
In my 33 years living on this planet I've only been inside of one Cadillac and it was an Escalade, and this was just last month lol. It was a 2023 model and it belonged to a random dmstranger who let me ride with him after I commented on his ride. I'll never forget how amazing that luxury SUV was, makes me want to get one but unfortunately I'm too broke. God, I love that car.
If I buy I car, IM DRIVING IT I ain’t gonna have no one drive it for me Like if it’s gonna be like that, might as well just let the driver be the owner of it
My parents have a Cadillac really nice buy one I can play video games on the TV in their head seats in the back very nice. I actually have the exact same interior that they were showing the brown leather, very classy
Most rappers that like the Escalade but they like the 500,000 Escalade the one that's bulletproof down. Those are the nice ones. You can feel safe on that. Escalade might as well spend that type of money on the escalade
My first house which I still own was $109k for three bedrooms and two baths on 1.7 acres. It’s worth $350k now, 20 years later. That suv in 20 years will be worth probably $5000. Literally. Great review guys!
I kid you not I bought over 90 acres in West Virginia for less than $99k, planning on building a nice place there soon. Value will only ever go up. This caddy? Cant say the same.
@@americandude3825 Appreciate it brother, I work on the road most days but when I got a call I knew I had to take a risk buying it site unseen. 7 months later I don’t regret a thing, any land to call your own is better than none, whether it be 0.1 acre or 1000 acres.
Ever since they change the style with those light saber tail lights, they cheaped out on all the other features. The turn signal is a yellow dot which used to be an arrow. The steering wheel used to have wood trim around it and now it doesn’t I just hate that new style.
I’ll keep it a stack the worst thing Escalades ever did was remove the embroidered crest from the seats. My 09 platinum has those I couldn’t imagine not having them especially in the platinum which yes I know is the only package those crest came with in the first place.
$114k it'll be worth $40k in less than 2 years, if it even lasts that long trouble free. NO THANKS!!! I'll take a Lexus LX and ensure I get years' worth of proven reliability and no hassle.
Celebrities buy them because they add, at least, light armor to them which greatly adds to the vehicles' weight. This is less of a concern in an SUV built on a truck chassis that's designed to haul cargo. Armor which would have a much higher impact on a sedan that isn't made for carrying much more than the weight of average passengers.
Navigator is more luxurious. Better interior materials and actually quicker too. I give the 'Slade the bling factor but the Navigator is the better purveyor of luxury !
Dont get me wrong its an awesome vehicle but no way in hell I'm paying 100k. unless I'm in the hobby of track racing or car collecting, Im not paying anymore than 50k vehicle. Especially for a regular point A to point B vehicle like an escalade. Anything more than 50k and I'm going to use that money towards a house or something more practical. Call me broke, but lots of normal people who are wealthy didn't become wealthy from blowing their paychecks on something you can get for cheaper; they saved it. It might have all the luxury features but, at the end of the day its just a box on wheels made to bring you from one place to another.
“You will not mistake this Escalade for anything else” yeah what about the GMC Yukon or Chevrolet Suburban. They are all the exact same base, and luxury in their own right
