Edwardo alfonz well i just turned 16 and recently started skating but there are people at my local skatepark that are like 12 and 13 and are really good i just wish i started then
Jack Yeomans In this video it does. At the skatepark close to my house they're all, when you fail a trick, like: "LOL YOU'RE SO BAD AT SKATEBOARDING HAHAHA." I tried to just push and skate off of a few ledges (I never skateboarded before) and they were like: "C'mon just do something interesting." I got scared of skateboarding because I don't want people to laugh at me like that...
I actually like taking advice from younger kids. I (16) actually got over my fear of dropping in when an 11 y/o was there showing me the best of how he did it. I also got the best description of an ollie from a 10 y/o before I started watching RU-vid tutorials. All the other skaters were bad at describing it.
Bowl cut is killing everyone's vibe though, his heart is in the right place but their comes a time where 11 year olds must step aside and let the grown ups shred.
Haha, too cool. I'm sure if I had such a supportive group around me like that, I'd be able to ollie a 5 stair just like he did easily. This video definitely motivated me to keep trying though!
My first attempt was always being scared, then after the first bail I was like this isnt bad, then I'd try and stick every ollie or trick. It's all a mind game really.
Kickflip started when Tony Hawk got drunk one night and did the sickest Ollie over a 10 stair but he got scared and kicked out and then the board flipped under him and he landed on it anyway. hence the kickflip was born. totally legit google it.
umneo Just because you're a fan boy that makes you disgusting? I can tell you have a pretty bad life if you tell someone to kill them self because you thought he was pretending to be in soar LOL GET A LIFE
Haha these kids are awesome!!! Loved the video, it put a smile only face! Patience and practice paid off! We can learn from this not only with regards to skating but in all areas of life! :)
that was awesome, you guys are planting the seeds of future skateboarders. That kids didn't smile the whole time and I'm sure you edited out a ton of his attempts, but that kid couldn't not smile after he landed that 5 stair awesome job all around. "golf clap"
Hey Aaron, do you think you could please make a video explaining your skateboarding style? I really like it, and I was wondering if you could show me how you do it. I would appreciate that so much. You are one of the best skateboarders ever Aaron. Your manuals into and out of stuff is out of this world good. You are a talented skater, but one thing that makes you stick out from other "skaters" is your willingness and enthusiasm to help others learn how to skateboard. I live that about you. You are amazing at skating and you are so helpful. I love your tutorials. You would definitely be on my all star skater list, along with Andy Shrock, Jonny Giger, and Jason Park. You have such a good personality, and I love how much you have taught me how to skate already. I am perfecting my Ollie's while moving, and I'm getting better. You are the best Aaron. I hope I can get to be as good as you one day. That would be awesome. Also, thanks to Lance and Gabe, I love you guys too. :) you guys are amazing skaters, too. Thank you so much, your the best Aaron :) I'm gonna keep watching your videos. #BrailleSkateboarding #aaronkyroskategod.
I'm right there with you but today, I took on the 4 stair at my park. Just snap like your going to Ollie and then bail to get used to it. Do it as many times as you want, then just Ollie, don't even think about the gap. You might not stick the first landing but from there on, it's nothing. You got it man
AceBoogie if youre still having trouble since youre moving just do the ollie motion but bring your body with the board and dont lean back stay centered or a little leaned forward when landing
Hey Aaron , I was hoping you could give me some advice on how to control my anger when it comes to skateboarding . I have been skateboarding for about 13 years now & I still cant do the key basic tricks like a ollie , pop shove it , kickflip etc. Every time I buy a new deck I end up getting so frustrated with all my failed attempts.... I usually end up snapping my deck in a fit of anger & giving up . Its really upsetting when I try so hard to do these basic tricks & my end result is just me getting mad at myself & breaking all my gear =( I see these videoès of You , Gabe , Lance doing these awesome tricks and it just makes skateboarding look like so much fun ....
for all those people wanting to start skating. Skateparks are safe places, skaters love newcomers. A sponsored skater bought my brother skate wax for landing a kickflip
Is it good that i am riding a 7.5 for only a couple months and having like smooth pushes and control all over my Board? I also ride downhill easily... I am 14
