Don't get me wrong......I do love my car. However there are a few things about my Celica GTS that I would love to change.....That's why they call it a project though right??? Part of being in the car world! Here is FIVE things I hate about my Celica gts!

The only thing I hate about mine is the visual blind spots. You always want to be aware of it when changing lanes. Mine is an '04 GTS and still runs like it's brand new. I'm keeping it until I die. I love it.

Sounds like a nice winter project! Take apart the body kit, take your time and put it back right. Have her nice and ready for a spring debut! Doing this when the weather is nasty and snowy means more time to drive the B2600!

I usually am not a fan of wheels outside of the standard aluminum, grey, black, ect but the copper wheels look nice on that!

That rattling exhaust is usually the heat shield on the manifold it’s prob missing some bolts

Just got my first Celica, 03 GTS. Same issues with my side skirts and the swapped the action package front for a Durflex Vader. Loving your CF hood resto have to do the same with a Seibon. Painted and vinyled it cracked split to hell.

@@shiftwrenchrepeat Yeah I had just bought it, didnt realize I didn't get the CF Hood fully closed, hoped on the freeway, hit 6th then boom, hood popped up and took out my windshield too. Installed pins to hold it down for now because the latch is now sus. leading edge of the hood is split, couple big cracks. So now debating if I want to just replace it or try and salvage it.

I have a stock 02 gts with low kms that I’m driving as a daily rn and I also have a 2000 gt that I’m making into a m sport replica when I buy used cars I always try to find them as unmolested as possible so I’m not fixing other peoples mistakes

U could always get an apexi ecu but yeah they are pricey

From what I’ve researched, the aem one would be more modern/user friendly but yeah apexi is also an option

All of these things you can fix yourself. Obviously whoever had it prior did a shitty job with the body kit and paint, but everything you hated about it you can change.

You went a bought a used celica what do you expected? You should be grateful of what you have and stop complaining of the flaw. If you want perfect you should’ve go for brand new car. Just saying
