I think Governor DeSantos is a good governor in Florida but he’s been able to get everything he wants done because he’s got a 100% republican legislature there and it is not that easy in Washington DC at all!! They make such a big deal about sexuality and it keeps their kids interested in it because it's taboo. It's better to make sure they know something about it that's age appropriate by someone qualified to do the instruction. There's a lot more out there besides pregnancy. I prefer my kids know as much as possible for their own protection. You know what really should be taught at home? Religion. And the right to challenge and/of have a say in that curriculum. The bill also affords parents access to their children's health records. Teachers can "say gay" as much as they please. But sexuality -- gay, trans or hetero -- is not a part of *curriculum* in Florida public schools for K through 3rd grade, period. Nothing "radical" or "homophobic" about that. Florida has one of the best economic track records, whereas many Democrat run States have the worst economic track records.
