Dude I love and watch most of all your videos but when you said nice low payment while standing next to a 2020 dually platinum fx4 I busted out laughing.
Things to know about a lifted truck from someone who doesn’t own a lifted truck(leveled doesn’t count) or work on lifted trucks just reads the brochures 😂
It depends on what you want done to the truck. But at the end of the day, we price match almost ALL of our custom parts. So there’s no need to worry that you are overpaying with us.
What's your take on the oil pan leak on the Ford F150? I have a 2017 Ford F150 and it's only got 24k miles, and the oil pan which is made of plastic is starting to leak at the seal. Is this covered under warranty?
Very informative video as always I wish Michigan wasn’t so far from Alabama you would be my dealer for sure, I got a question, when you take the truck after modification to the scale do you fill the fuel tank up to the top first
Just a note to your customers. ANY GPS receiver will give you the same accuracy. Don’t need to spend lots of $$. Also, smart phones are NOT a GPS device Phones use triangulation to locate you (which is good because otherwise, your phone would not be able to locate you without a clear, unobstructed view of the sky). Also, although you didn’t really bash Rough Country, you certainly implied that they were lower quality. I have. 3” RC on my 2018 Platinum...MSRP was over $67k. I now have 24,000 miles on the RC kit with zero issues. And that’s with moderate, occasional off roading. Anyway, I do love your vids. Always informative. Just wanted to assure your viewers that, from my personal experience, RC has been awesome.
I Live in Canada. I watch almost all the Town and Country Ford Truck Builds. You Gentlemen are Amazing. If it was Possible I would order my next built truck, from TC!!!!
Been a subscriber for years and love your videos and reviews. Been a Ford F150 owner as well as other Ford's since 1992. I wish we had a dealer like yours here in Michigan. Would love to order a truck from you someday but would hate to try and get it serviced locally and perform things like the "re-torque" and other services you provide. Our dealers here don't offer these types of customer service that I am aware of. I've had multiple dealers try to void the warranty on my 4 wheel drive in the past, simply because I brought it in for service with a level kit and 33x12.50 Toyo M/T's on it. Took it to another dealer and had no issues. Some shady dealers and service centers in Michigan.
You all sell ready lifts. Do a custom Expedition. No place is really selling aftermarket parts to include ford for even running boards. I want a chrome delete package to go with my lift.
So if purchasing a vehicle from outside of Alabama do I still have to pay sales tax? Because when registration in NC we have to pay tax bringing it in to state
You pay sales tax either way (in state or out of state). But you do NOT double pay taxes. Depending on whether or not you are financing, the dealer may have to collect sales tax on behalf of the lender and then send that sales tax to your local DMV. Some lenders make dealers do this so that the lien on the vehicle is perfected.
On custom parts purchased. It’s the same tax rate if you are buying groceries at Walmart. But VEHICLES have a lower tax rate. And if you put the custom parts into the purchase of the vehicle, you enjoy the lower sales tax rate.
I'd be interested in more information on what effect sport mode can have on the longevity\durability of the f150 if used daily. Not necessarily driving aggressively but driving normally. I don't like the shift pattern of normal mode in the 10 speed. Sport mode shifts more like I'd drive a manual.
Lol leveling kit? Took my 17 F150 rscb 4x4 and dropped the rear to level it. Pulled out the factory rear spring blocks and added the Ford performance 1.5" lowering shackles. You don't have to always go up to level. 😁👍
I will have to disagree with the speedometer being off when adding bigger tires. Every mobile radar trailer i ever pass shows my speed in agreement with whats on my speedometer. Also my coworkers have clocked me with the infrared radar which also agrees with what my speedometer shows. I have a level and 35’s on 20’s. Correct me if im wrong, but older vehicles speedometers were gear driven right?....are they still or computer controlled now?
Depends on alot. Are the tires structurally capable of off-road and towing? Shocks and suspension have different jobs and can add or remove towing capability, depending on what is removed and installed.
