The 6-way lipsync in season 11 was clearly set out by production to be in theory a great gag moment that would be a highlight of the season, but in practice it turned out to be a hot mess in every way: the queens didn't have enough stage space to perform at their best and it was a filming and editing nightmare.

Another rivalry one was Loosey vs Luxx. Only production choices would be the reason to make loosey be in the bottom taking into account her work during the makeover challenge
Honestly, I don’t think loosey deserved to be in the bottom. She had a great makeover on her partner and the family resemblance was there. Mistress should’ve been in the bottom instead. Her outfits were just plain dresses with boas. At least Loosey had more color, dimension, and resemblance than mistress.
Yeah. I haven’t seen the season but I think that after Karen’s talent show Michelles Reaction was ‘is that it?’. Like how is that not automatically a bottom performance.
Neither of them should have been in the bottom but they couldn't send Karen krom Kinance home (I'm going to hell. I know they've apoligized and been mostly forgiven but I can't pass on this).
1000000% agree. I know she had an amazing runway, but it shouldn’t even matter bc she was so bad. If it was close between who was worse between Morphine and Nymphia, then Nymphia’s runway would’ve saved her, but Nymphia was wayyy worse than morphine, so she would’ve been in the bottom.
@givemetheloot8026 i dont even think morphine was that bad, like definitely low but they literally just wanted the storyline of morphine sending her bestie home, but i know that nymphia could absolutely go toe to toe with Xunami just as much as morphine

@givemetheloot8026 yeah, ultimately xunami wouldve gone home and the season wouldve been basically the same, but i just feel that nymphia truly being in the bottome definitely couldve fueled her win even more because it would show a bit of vulnerability and make a more satisfying win, in my opinion.
@@citrinethecorgiI think this riggory happens because given Nymphia's runway...I think it would've really restricted her movement in the lip sync and Xunami would've won...sending Nymphia home in 9th with 2 wins...I think it was fair enough given the circumstances. I compare it to the Season 10 snatch game where Asia and Vixen should've been bottom 2 but Asia is saved bc her mermaid mask would've caused her to lose the lip sync
What’s interesting about the Brooke/Vanjie lip-sync is: had it been Silky instead of Brooke-Lynn, it would’ve still made for an emotional and compelling lip-sync. Silky and Vanjie are VERY close friends, and they sorta had an alliance on the season. So having them go against each other would’ve been an emotional strike with their friendship.
one you forgoet and one actually that was planned way before the season even started and thats sugar vs spice. if you remember this snatch game happened early, so early they had to give us 2 seperate SG. Going on the show you give an audtion tape, DR tends to bring in girls who are good and who are bad. DR knew Sugar and Spice were bad bad. They wanted this to happen so bad that they had to plan it before the season. They used them to bring in fans to the new MTV lineup but only needed that storyline maybe 3-4 epsiodes as theyre just not very good at drag race (tbh). So they used snatch game to makesure we got that LS between them.

@@milianhardt2652 Ikr I mean if they hadn’t rigged it for Jorgeous to be safe then none of this drama would’ve happened in the first place and we would’ve gotten the same result. Kerri wouldn’t have been mistreated and misjudged, Jorgeous would’ve won the lip sync, and Alyssa would have lost fairly and gone home in an unrigged elimination
@@givemetheloot8026 I honestly thought it was kinda funny for RPDR...when you rig it so much that you back yourself into a corner where you either rig the lip sync or send Kerri home despite having done well in the challenge, they should've just said fuck it - given Alyssa the lip sync win and Kerri the gold bar just to save her storylime
Whoa whoa whoa, Adore killed the ball challenge actually. Courtney was middle of the pack just like she was. I was very impressed with Adore that episode, she was nowhere near the bottom. Bianca was solidly safe.
Thought this was a different video 😂 where a lip sync is forced because *each episode requires it show formula wise. So lip syncs even though a contestant is being pulled (e.g. Willam or Eureka S10), everyone does well in the challenge and they're just doing it to do it (idk probably one of the rusicals), double saves not due to performance but episode theme (e.g. premieres) and that's all I can think of. Essentially if the question "wait so why did we have to do that" is asked, it would be a forced lip sync.
down under when the bottom 2 should of clearly been art and Karen. but they put kits and elektra in the bottom 2 because they were employer and employee
Agreed!! This might be a matter of taste (mine and the judging) but I think Brooke’s verse is the worst of them all, and her vocals aren’t great and don’t fit the vibe of the song AT ALL. Silky is a messy queen, but it all comes together and works in a way I don’t think it did fully for Brooke (or Vanjie tragically missing her lyrics in the performance.)
First one that comes to my mind was Jaidynn vs Max. And while Max deserved to be in the btm 2 Jaidynn didnt deserve to be there over Fame and they absolutely put her there and picked the song just so they could send Max home over Fame.
10:18 there was no way there were going to let Tamisha continue with the season. She had some serious health issues, which she did not disclose to the production prior to the season. You could see Ru was seriously scared when she heard what was going on. They could either put Tamisha in the bottom and send her home or disqualify her. She was a walking hazard to the entire production.
