@RobertRodriguezJr: Great video on photography papers and choices. How do you find the Dmax of papers? I have used some red river samplers and Epson ultra premium matte and luster papers with high white points to accentuate the overall images giving better contrasts overall but other than soft proofing in Lightroom with profiles, is there a better way to get the Dmax numbers?
Try reaching out to the paper company you use. I have tried the Canson sample packs & like a few of the papers. Since then, they have added a few more I would like to try.
@@thomastuorto9929 : Thank you so much for the response. :) I just got an Epson ET-8550 and loving the prints out of it on Epson Ultra Premium papers but I haven't tried Canson or hahnemuehle yet. All the manufacturers say their luster and glossy papers have high Dmax but I have never seen actual numbers against each other even in comparison videos. I'll try reaching out to them to see if any of them actually do have numbers to compare against rather than just doing trial and error. :)
