Iris are my favorite flower , but my particular likes with them are different than most people , first I love an old heirloom plant , and I want a plant that does not produce many blooms to a stalk , that does not appeal to me the way it does with other people .
I agree. I like the simple, elegant form of older irises. I think the ruffly modern form is ugly. It's a complicated enough flower as it is, without losing its lines in ruffling.
