Now I'm a doctor and I am about to do my first Intensive Care and Anaesthesia exam, your GoPro video again was extremely inspirational. I rooted for Christine on every segment. I was born and raised in Houston. So I had laughed and cried with her, on each show. I think woman is truly amazing, all her dishes looked so good! I would like very much to sit with her, and just share my heart. And would like to try some of her recipes! Will be ordering her book!

I still vividly remember in one chapter when Christine prepared the fish dish which were served to Barack Obama. Gordon was astonished why she could manage it so perfectly, how the elements were beautifully arranged on the plate.He was so surprised that he asked her if he was fooled about her vision impaired. And then Christine said: „ No Sir, I WISH“That was so touching for me.. . She wished that Gordon was fooled so that she could see everything again as normal people do.

The earlier seasons of Masterchef US were the best. Your season was the one that I had a favorite. I was rooting for you since the beginning. You reminded me of a friend of mine. I first met her at a local gym where she is a group exercise/spinning/yoga instructor. We share a love for the show CSI. After knowing her for a while, she confided that she has glaucoma in both her eyes. And she is losing her eyesight slowly. I was shock, you'll never know if she had not reveal that. She had participated in various trialathon including Ironman. She's an avid cyclist with her husband and little boy. She's an inspiration. And btw... She loves you too.

In Ho Chi Minh there's a restaurant called "Noir", have you heard of it? Guests have to eat in the dark and the staff (waiters/ waitresses) are blind; they guide you to your seats and help you eat. Maybe it could be something that'd fit you if you opened a restaurant. It could be a really interesting experience for Jon, too. Take him there next time you come to Hcm :)

Josh took his life? He had so much going for him. My heart just sank. im crying for him and his family and everyone who ever got to come in contact with that beautiful man.

I still have teary eyes whenever I try to remember who was the second- best in Master Chef season 3 and realized that he was gone.

The few seconds that I "experienced" Christine's vision, on screen made me really appreciate my ability to be able to see. You take things for granted, but never really realise how fortunate you are. Christine is inspiration to me, she's awesome!

I'm glad you mentioned Josh and dedicated the video to him. It's hard to watch the footage of him talking about his dreams for his own cooking school, it would be amazing if one were to be named after him. You're also a huge inspiration; I'm not an aspiring chef, but overcoming self-doubt and excelling in academics and your passions is an amazing accomplishment and that is inspirational to me. I've dealt with vision impairment for twenty years, as a result of amblyopia, and I'm happy you haven't let your autoimmune disease keep you from living a fulfilled life. You're simply brilliant.

Wow I didn't know you had an auto immune illness I got diagnosed with an auto immune illness too my illness attacked my kidneys and brain last time,I felt my whole world had crashed like I could no longer do what I wanted to do but seeing you it has inspired me to chase my dreams I'm still me and not my illness.Before I got sick I wasn't much of a cook but I found now that cooking is an excape I'm not as good as you but good enough to keep my husband happy.Your story has brought me to tears good inspirational tears I wish good vibes in all of your future projects

Man i dont usually cry when it comes to people's backstory. But I saw season 3. And her audition and her backstory just bought tears to my eyes. I was balling up quietly.And the fact that she won is like god tier.

I actually started watching Masterchef on season 3 and was rooting for either you (Christine) or Josh to win it. You both were so charismatic and such fun-to-watch people that I couldn't help but to root for the both of you. When you guys were announced the finalists, I was extremely hyped. It's so sad to hear about Josh's passing. And an even sadder note to think that he might be alive if he won masterchef that season =\. Life goes on however, hope Christine will dedicate a dish for Josh. That would be such a great homage to him and I would love to visit her future restaurant to try it and any of her dishes whenever it happens!

Back to 2010 until early 2012, I didn’t watch Masterchef because I wasn’t a big fan of the show... but when my friend told me that season 3 which was airing in 2012 was amazing, because of YOU.. the inspirational contestant, so i started to watch Every episode of Masterchef US SINCE THEN! I watched a lot of MasterChef seasons, but I have never before been so attached to the consestants as in 3 season. I really like Josh and Christine, and I was very shocked to know that Josh passed away, I was in tears. I’m really glad that Christine won the season, and honestly she is the cutest and the most adorable woman I have ever seen. It’s a weird feeling, but when I look at her I just want to give her a hug. I probably sound creepy, but I think I’m not alone at this point.

Me and my kids been watching the show... started recently and just yesterday finished season 3....we were so happy to see our 2 favorite contestants going into the finals... seeing Josh coming back strong was amazing to see... after we finished... we went on the internet to see how everyone has been and what they were up to as of today and that's when so unexpectedly we read the news about Josh's passing... IT BROKE OUR 💔 ... I literally screamed my daughters name to share it cuz I couldn't believe it... came across a documentary that explained the tough journey the family had to go thru trying to get him help... how sad that not only help was limited but insurance situation didn't help either... my heart goes to the family... I cannot imagine the tremendous pain his mom goes thru everyday and having to find her son 😭... may God give you all peace and strength ❤

Ya know you are a huge huge inspiration to me and everyone! It’s a sad thing to loose such a great person. I just finished watching the season and I was thrilled to find that you won. However I loved josh dearly. He was so inspiring, fun, and skilled in what he did. I remember watching the audition for it and immediately saying, “He’s going to make it to the end” and he did. I looked up where everyone is now and it absolutely broke me to find what had happened. Josh had people who loved him and he still does, many and many people do! I have recently started watching Master Chef since Covid came. I must say, you are my favorite winner. Your story and your determination were both inspiring and amazing. I was very proud of you when you won Season 3 and claimed that coveted Master Chef apron. I think that Gordon and the other judges and the other contestants had their doubts that you would succeed.....but you proved that IN SPITE of your lack of sight, you can STILL live your dreams and be successful.
