Sir, thanks for the information. I was a weekend warrior, taking care of projects when off work. Since retirement, my weekends have happily become longer. I enjoy seeing individuals showing how they do things, as opposed to some who have become "commercialized". Not trolling, just my humble observation. Thanks again and good luck to you.

Nice fix Dale! I had to repair a similar dining chair before that used dowels. Some of the dowels weren't even glued in. That's the best floating tenon I've seen you make so far.
