Wow, that was an amazing result, great to see a craftsman at work. When he brought in his tool case, I thought he’d brought his guitar ! Thanks very much for sharing this with us, have a great Christmas, best wishes from a cold and wet England.
Great stuff, worked with a few pdr guys in my life when I was a mechanic at the dealership, glad no one got hurt, and good to at least hear you lol. Merry Christmas Sal, and Happy New Year!
I have a Honda rebel with a matte black tank that was dented about a month or so again unfortunately. I will try to at least pop out most of it myself like show in the video from the inside of the tank. I wanted to ask, was there any gas draining done? Or was it just driven to the last gas bar and that was it
I had a choice of draining the gas or riding it down. I chose to ride it down well into the low fuel light. It wasn’t all the way empty, but was close. Good luck with yours! Hope you can pop it out.
Were your handlbars bent at all? Just had this happen to me and it did the same dent and bent my handlebars being dropped from a stand still... Super disappointed in the amount of damage from a non moving drop
No, it didn’t bend the handlebars. I would have been even more disappointed if it had. The handlebars aren’t supposed to be able to touch the tank, but they obviously do touch it when stressed. Were you able to get your dent fixed? What make/model bike?
@@mcSal 6 month 2k miles and this is literally the first scratch I put on it. Definitely still super disappointed haha but will get over it with some time
