Thank you Daniel. I am 75 years old and have difficulty with phones on a good day. My kids and grandkids are arriving at the airport today, so I need to stay in contact with them while they travel, as I will be picking them up. Thank you so much! I was crying so hard! I was really worried my phone wouldnt work again, and I was to scared to tell my parents that I had broke my phone. This video helped me so so so much, I really appreciate it! (tip for anyone who this has happened to and is trying to fix it, dont hold down on the volume buttons. Very quickly press the volume up button then quickly press the volume down button and then hold the off button until your screen turns black. If you hold down on the volume buttons, it won't work!)

oh my goodness! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My phone kept freezing once I would enter the passcode and then it would just "restart" but end up exactly in the same spot. But I followed your instructions and was able to access my phone again! I was told my apple that there was nothing I could do besides a software update or restore which would risk losing anything I did not back up- which was about 5 months worth of photos and videos, which was in fact my baby's entire life! SO AGAIN- THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Make sure you first try holding the power and volume up button down until a power off sign appears. If that does not work, quickly press volume up then volume down until phone restarts.
