1. *Charge Your iPhone:* Connect it to a power source using the original Apple lightning cable and wait.
2. *Force Restart Your iPhone:* For iPhone X and later models:
- Press Volume Up, then Volume Down quickly.

Thanks, the 2nd method worked for me! I was stuck on a gray screen and my iPhone wouldn't do anything but show the time and battery. It would charge but I couldn't turn it off. But after doing the second method it showed the turn off iPhone button!

Dude this saved me when I woke up at 2am to use the bathroom... and I tried to check what time it was and the screen didn't do anything. I started pressing all the buttons in a blind panic that accidently called 911😳 Thank goodness I was able to restart my phone and they called me back to see if was an emergency... but they were nice enough to let me explain that I just had to restart my phone! This gave me so much relief! Thanks ☺

Thank you, the recommended software worked where all else failed. Get this..., my computer died and would not connect to the internet, finally took it to get repaired, while my computer was being repaired, my phone contracted the "Black Screen of Death" Thanks again, it's all good now.

The second method helped. I used information on how to restart using the iPhone 6S buttons. Funny enough, even with a black screen, Siri was functioning and the phone was functioning. Thanks buddy, this helped!
