I had the same code come up on a C6 Corvette, but really before changing out the pedal, make sure your battery is fully charged and not weak. I had no issues before I started cleaning doors with them open for a while. I guess leaving doors open was draining the battery. I drove to the store like that, came back to the car and now the message of reduced power was gone but still check engine light. Driving to the store must've charged up the battery enough to get rid of the low voltage code (p2122). When I got home I cleared the check engine light and no problems since,. So first check battery.

Its likely a faulty connection, the wires might not be producing enough power which signifies a short elsewhere in the vehicle. You might have to test each wire in the pedal individually for output, they should read 5 v or higher. Idk how to fix it, that's why I'm here

Change gas pedal and didn't work. Also changed throttle body and still didn't work.

P122 means not enough power getting to the pedal sensor. I removed mine and one of the two wires that are supposed to be bringing 5 volts each was bringing in under one volt.

@@pistolduce1230 I haven’t. I don’t know what it is and am not going to pay to fix it while it drives good enough. It’s only when I have to pick up speed quickly like when entering an expressway. I have prepared for that. It will get fixed when I find out how to fix it.
