Fix freeze after suspend on ubuntu gnome/GDM (Nvidia only) [could be outdated, please back up first]

After doing this it fixed my problem but I was stuck with 1024x728 resolution. However, after updating my nvidia driver resolution problem also got fixed. Thank you!

I'm having this kinda issue on my Windows 11 Laptop, it goes into a black screen with unresponsive keyboard clicks & mouse (sometimes movable) after going away for some time or closing lid after doing something like gaming or coding. Do anyone know what to do here?

It disables nvidia driver completely. Its like using your computer without a GPU. Not useful especially if you have a strong driver

Hey in my Computer 11th line was blank it contained just till quotation the noveau.modse=0 wasn't present what should I do, the line in my computer is is Grub_CMDLINE_LINUX=""

thank you but it didnt work for me.. im using acer aspire a515 52g.. im using ubuntu about 4 months but everything was ok untill yesterday i noticed for the first time that after wakeup from suspend in login form autometically ramdom password is getting as input and its continuing untill i press backspace and close all.. then when i logged in as user i noticed my touchpad get stuck. i cant move cursor untill i restart my pc or press "ctrl + alt + f7" and then "ctrl + alt + f2" and then it works fine again untill i suspend.. and now another problem added newly that is when i click to suspend it goes for suspend and withing 1 second i wakes up again itself.. only if i close my laptop lid then it goes suspend as wel.. i reall dont know why the hell is this happennig.. i tried a lot of solutions taken from google..bt nothing works...

I made a big mess. I didn't see it was NVidea only and I set it up in my Ubuntu,which crashed after reloading with a message: Kernel Panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

I tried this, Added nouveau.modeset=0 to the line that says GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX. I then restarted. My pc yet hangs when I click suspend or whenever I shut my laptop lid. ie on suspend.

Only when I close the cover and the device go on suspension when I open the laptop... it start but the screen is all black. The suspension from command line work so good.
