Fix Honda Check Parking Sensor System Light Error Dashboard 

You should be rewarded for such a public service as this! My Honda dealership is notorious for unnecessary repairs and price gouging. This video enabled me to fix it myself and avoid the dishonest service department.

Thanks, this was very helpful! One thing to note: the top bulb part number should be 35856-TK8-A01 (A02 is the new version) which is the green OEM color. The other bulb, 35855-TK8-A01, will work but it will be white and is supposed to be for the bottom bulb. Both should fix the problem but you may want green bulb to keep it the same as original.

Wow! Thanks for this video! I was about to take my van to the dealership tomorrow morning and after looking at your video I took my bulb out and ordered a new one from the dealership for $6.00!!! I’m sure that was going to be over $100 for the Honda dealer to fix it!!

I took my van to the dealership this morning for this issue. Just got the call that it will be $137 for the diagnostic and $7 for the bulb replacement. Thanks for putting this video out there, next time I will consult online FIRST 🥺

This actually worked, i even didn't buy a new bulb (going to soon but not available in my country atm),By just wiring the 2 legs of the LED with a small copper wire and it did the job. Thanks

Thank you! Saved me a lot of time and money. The amazon link to the part was very useful. In my case I did remove the trim and push the button out but I did not unplug the buttons. I left them connected while I replaced the part. It worked perfectly

As I was trying to replace the bulb, I realized the neo wedge LED bulbs I had ordered (someone said they were interchangeable) do not work to replace the original one. However, as I pulled the assembly out, a blue bulb fell out of the bottom. I am not sure if it fell out of the left or right side, but there were no bulbs in either spot. I am wondering if there should be bulbs in both spots on the bottom as well as the top. Is anyone able to answer this question?

I had a remote start installed on my 12 pilot and now I get that message. I can push the button in sometimes and it'll work, sometimes it doesn't. I'll try the bulb. Of course they're out of stock.

My odessey does not have parking sensor switch, just vsa and fog light switch.

Worked great once I realized it was the bulb on top. When it popped out, it rotated and I saw the same type of bulb on the underside. I started messing with that and it didn't fix it. Rewatched the video and realized I was on the wrong side of the button. DUH. Problem solved.

My sensor light on the car dashboard is not showing up on one side? Can someone help ? Only the front right is showing up,the back and left side ain’t

I have a 2011 Honda Pilot with the exact issue. I replaced both bulbs, since they were so cheap, but the issue remains. The warning comes back and sometimes the warning is gone and the sensors work fine. Any thoughts?
