Well I might not have been able to drive with Covid, BUT I could make Guides. Sadly my Tonsils were inflamed, so I could hardly speak and was breathing heavily, apologies for that in the videos. Hope the latest guides and videos help you guys, we are back to drifting and driving soon!!! Like & Subscribe Discord: discord.gg/UeN49ASpW7

Thanks for the video, great tip on how to remove the top case. I just needed to check the unresponsible clutch pedal, and just opening it and cleaning seems to have solved the issue.

hi i watched your video with great interest well done , i wonder if you could help me ? all i tried to do was to put some different springs on the brake pedal so i pushed down to release from brake pedal was quite easy so little force was used however the pedal now wont resit in its original position ? and now cant even get the original springs to lock in too the brake pedal as the brake pedal seems not to have any resistence and is just kind of floppy ? so the springs wont sit within the top of the brake pedal ?? any ideas whats wrong could a spring at bottom of pedal inside be broken ? any help would be gratefully received thanks .

i have an issue with my clutch pedal where it flickers to 0.1 at times and sometimes goes to 0.4 after pressing it and it stops when i pull the pedal back and let go it does it again so what do i do?
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
Hey brother is that issue with T-LCMs or other pedals? I had this issue with logitech g29 pedals and it is bad connection, so I used WD40 and contact cleaner to spray there etc. You can potentially look if pedals are crazy dusty and circuit board is covered with crap or the cable is moved and last resort is warranty.

Just a few days ago my clutch and gas pedal show 100% on the calibration tool without me touching them. When I press the gas the force drops down like I am letting off the gas almost like something is reversed. I'm going to try cleaning it. Have you heard of this problem?

Hello i have issue my throttle doesnt go 100%, do you think the reason its dusty inside or no?
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial 11 месяцев назад
Yes a guy reported also that, it could be dust or the stopper has worn out and when you press it doesn't block properly or some shit and messes the calculation of the sensor, but my advice is try to dust it off, then use some wd40 or contact cleaner on the sensor.

Hi. Which screwdriver (size/model/name) are you using to open tlcm?
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
Hey mate, I just used small screwdriver honestly not sure about the size, you can see it's very small one and long, so it can get in these small holes to unscrew the screws. I have a very small pack of tools and I use stuff from there. I just grab whatever tools can work for the job.

I've just got these pedals and they work great, but the brake sensor(?) seems to disconnect randomly mid-race so no brake force is recognised at all. Moving the black cable attached to the bottom of the springs then fixes it again. Does that sound like a loose connection/something that can be fixed or should I send them back?
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
Hey brother, I'd suggest to hop on our discord and send a short video of the problem. It could really be loose connection. It's good to be checked early, so you can get new ones, if needed!

I've just got my pedals out of the box and I'm having the same issue. Brake is fine for a couple of minutes and that the inputs start going crazy without me even touching the pedal. I move the black cable slightly, pedal works fine and then goes crazy again after a couple of mins. Did you manage to solve this problem?
@danielalmond3272
@danielalmond3272 8 месяцев назад
@@wurble unfortunately not, I had to return them and get a replacement set that then worked fine straight out the box.

@@danielalmond3272 Thank you for the quick reply. I've spent the past hour fiddling around trying to get the brake to work but no luck. Same issue across different games too. Looks like I'll also have to get a replacement. How long did it take from reporting the problem to getting your replacement? Thanks again.

Hey man, my throttle spring snapped and now I need to get a new one , where can I get on, was planning to get one from aliexpress because thats going to be the easiest to get
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial 7 месяцев назад
Hey brother, I had snapped at least 3 now, you can go to a local shop, if your sell springs, sadly in my country I can't even find one haha. I bought from Thrustmaster, but prices for some stupid springs is craaazy, I strongly suggest getting cheaper ones from somewhere else if possible and thrustmaster to be last resort.

@@saif.rawahi Hi, both spring length 70mm and outer diameter around 18/19mm. Throttle wire is 1,5mm and clutch 2mm thick. I bought different sets in different wires (1,6mm , 1,8mm ....) to try. And to get maximum life span from springs: grease them.
@freedomdst
@freedomdst Год назад
Do you use any grease for the brake rod mechanism? My brake feels kinda grindy if not fully pressed from pushin up on the pedal, modulating and pushing from a lower position makes it grind a bit. I thin it also suffers a bit (the pedal design) with lateral forces if bot pushed right on the center with a perpendicular force.
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
Hi, honestly I haven't paid much attention. I use the default spring and the brake is stiff enough with them. If you think there is some misplacement you can open the pedals and align them properly. I think that feeling of grinding comes with the super stiff springs. I felt like, it was so unnecessary heavy and went back to normal springs. What springs do you use?
@freedomdst
@freedomdst Год назад
@@exoticmotorsportofficial im using the default aswell, like 6 months now
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
@@freedomdst I hope the plastic or something else is not giving up, because it should not grind. But honestly you can try grease, if you think it will help. But I can't advise on that, since I never tried it 😐. I agree for the lateral forces, it's logical analyz. At this point, if you really feel hopeless to get rid of grinding or some annoying sound. Research on internet, before doing something and if you find something you can try. I personally haven't had this problem. BUT as you see I drive with socks, because EMI issues o.o I quit driving with shoes cuz it was building tons of static electricity and my pedal started to stuck at random %
@freedomdst
@freedomdst Год назад
@@exoticmotorsportofficial fixed it, i had left over silicon grease from a shifter mod, there is a plastic piece inside the part on top of the springs, lubricated its inside and the metal rod a bit. Also the springs have an angle i guess to follow the compression arc while pressing down, maybe those where not set correctly when i took it apart last time.
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
@@freedomdst Yea exactly, always double check. I was sure it couldn't be a big deal problem, unless you blasted the pedal or pedal springs somehow 🤣. Happy to hear it's solved. One stone off the shoulder less for ya cheers!

Today I am going to disassemble my TLCM, clean and lubricate them. Personally, the clutch makes noise when I step on it, the rest don't. I don't know if it is due to the cold, because my floor is marble or because there is an area of the chassis of the base giving way due to wear. It could also be due to the thru axle on the pedals. I don't know right now how this area would be cleared. Does anyone have information about it? Thanks.
@exoticmotorsportofficial
@exoticmotorsportofficial Год назад
My clutch makes noise too from time to time and I feared that the clutch spring has bend and prolly out of resistance. But it works fine now. I've seen that the spring sometimes move themselves a bit weirdly so you can position the spring, as you want. Test a bit etc. 🙂

@@exoticmotorsportofficial In this video, around minute 34, you can see how he removes the pin, inside the arms of the pedals are the friction bushings (they are made of a ceramic or plastic compound, I think. Be careful not to damage them). Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-StPXcYVPKwo.html I don't have silicone grease but I do have Teflon or even fork grease (MTB) which is quite soft.
