My mouse wheel scrolls down a bit when I scroll up, and vice versa. I followed the steps in this videos and it worked. My mouse wheel scrolls correctly now. thank you. Thumbs up for this video

I have a cordless mouse and does not have any screws but I was able to remove a piece so that I can clean the scroll and remove hair and other junk that was inside of it using a tweezer (ewww). Works great now. Thank you!! You taught me something new

dude follow all these steps it really works the only tricky part (for me) was to open that one screw. also it works if you only put that paper in the scroll it makes more friction and the problem is solved

Thanks, all I needed to do was use the tissue and move it left to right to clean the hole. I then removed it and placed the scroll wheel back and it worked. I was wondering what the hell I could use to clean that hole. Your tissue idea worked lol and fixed the problem. I didn't have to keep the tissue in there though.

so i just finished this, the paper kept falling out but floss worked really well. If you are having trouble replacing the housing the chip and cord need to be very flat and well placed or its difficult to replace properly

Amazing video............but there is no need to add the tissue..just apply pressure sideways to the aluminium cover that holds the ring that helps it in turning and u will be good to go
