Answer to a prayer!! I have been getting a burning pain in that area when I walk for too long and nobody seemed to understand it. So I was getting all these suggestions to stretch the hamstrings and similar things, but nothing seemed to help. This is the answer!!! As soon as I did the first stretch, I KNEW you'd hit the nail on the head! Cannot tell you how very grateful I am!! Many, many thanks!

I hyperextended my Piriformis and have had terrible sciatica pain as a result. The physical therapist gave me a few exercises to do at home that did not help after 2 weeks - started doing the Tone & Thighten 3-step process (using a vibrating ball on the pressure points). Pain is managed!

I gave myself a compression fracture of my L3 and found out I have osteoporosis. I spend 2 months in physical therapy and did well. Time has past and the pain creeped in. I found you today and every exercise and stretch you demonstrated mirrored the therapy I took. Thanks so much. Your workout was exactly what I was hoping to find. I know I’ll recover again. Got mild pain from squats and deadlifts in left glute. Was going to take it easy but then took a fall at work last night and got bad Sciatica. That modified Pigeon pose was just amazing. Your exercises are a lot better than what the hospital gave me. Thanks so much.

Thank you! I have self-diagnosed piriformis syndrome and these stretches help me so much. I don't know if this is common but my syndrome has flare ups and then periods of normalcy. At it's worst, my right hip feels like it's seizing up is the best way to describe which causes pain to walk. I just did the first half of your exercise routine and it loosened up my hip so I can walk normal. I've had a sensitive piriformis for most of my adult life so this is nothing new but I'm curious if you think my YogaBody Trapeze that I got a few months ago could cause it to flare up? I got it for stretching but have been afraid to use it lately thinking it was the culprit of my latest flare up. Not sure if you're familiar with the trapeze but if not you can find routines of youtube. I'm also afraid to go to the doctor because I read they like to treat it with steroid injections and some go with surgery -- I'm not a fan of either one especially not a fan of anesthesia--it scares me.

Hi Jared I’m a baseball player and have had pain in my upper hamstring/ lower glute for a couple of months. I’m a pitcher and the pain is mostly when I land on impact. I think my sciatic nerve is poking out a little bit. Do you have any instructions

Can we do it daily ? How many times a day? I performed it twice yesterday and today morning yesterday felt better but today mild soreness around the hip region. I hope thats part of the process as that muscle was never touched in ages and now feels swollen and pumped up

I think i pulled or tore this muscle,I moved a sofa chair by twisting and lifting and its been 50 days and getting worse, I was told for now dont do exercises just lay down with knees up so the muscle can relax off of the sciatica, but im hoping this will help me later once i know if i tore it or not

Hmmm my mind goes to a couple of places, @MariaG2570. If the actual walking does not aggravate it (or helps it feel better), then yes! It's a great option. It won't be quite as good as some of these focused stretching and strengthening exercises, but it will still be good. Have you ever had your pain checked out by a professional? In many instances - pain while sitting might be indicative of a slightly different problem. Problem is many of these stretches really torque the knees. If you have knee problems, these will hurt. The pregnancy one is better but I think it’s better to flatten the knee and thigh on the table and bring your opposite shoulder down to the knee.
