Fix Plosives in Pro Tools For Your Podcast, Dialogue, or Vocals
Sometimes we record or receive audio with plosives and pops in a podcast, dialogue, or vocals. In Pro Tools and other DAW's it is simple to fix. In this video I'll show you my Pro Tools screen and how I fix the pops, and plosives in some dialogue tracks from a podcast. This works great with vocals as well!

Thanks for the tips :). I've purcharsed some rx stuff but the de plosive isn't in the basic formule so i'll do the manual way

Hey Adam, Great video! Can you actually give us a tutorial on how to use your gaming mouse as trigger buttons, like you did with a one button push for de-plosive rendering?

i tend to use the "fadeIn" solution which is, in my opinion of course, the most effective solution...thx for sharing your solutions 👍👍👍

Yeah, that's particularly helpful when you have a hard transient. A filter doesn't help that. Thanks for watching.

You made a comment in this video that got me thinking about an issue I experience frequently. I play flute but I play with a somewhat aggressive approach that includes overblowing and humming/singing while I am playing the flute. This causes a less dramatic but still annoying plosive. When you said the plosive was caused by the breathe pushing the diaphragm of the mic it made me think this is what I am experiencing too. Many times people tell me they don't hear what I am talking about but I think it is they don't know what it is supposed to sound like. Any way, do you have any advice on recording techniques that might help control this a bit; such as type of mic, distance from mic, etc. ?
