Fix Realtek HD Audio Manager Missing from Windows 10

In this video we'll take a look at how you can fix issues relating to your Realtek driver. Nothing worse to find your audio or microphone has suddenly stop working and it being related to your driver. Here, I'll show you how you can resolve this and what to do if the Realtek HD audio manager is not showing.
The first way to try and resolve this is to try and update the driver you already have installed. You can do this from device manager by using the update driver option. It will check the driver for you and you have the option to install the driver again aswell.
The other options will allow you to go to the realtek website to install the latest driver. If this doesn't do the trick you can always go to your computers vendors website to get the vendors version of the latest driver.

downloading the driver from the actual brand logo of it worked, I was thinking that the later versions weren't compatible or has some bugs, for some reason it won't detect my headphones, glad that it worked. thanks!

Good video! Had a new build, was attempting to install drivers off the MSI website, it just kept boot looping over and over trying to uninstall. Sometimes the drivers would just disappear and my headset would stop working. (maybe due to windows updates?) anyways followed this guide, windows said I had the latest update, which was a year older then the MSI update, following the video I was able to pick the drivers I had on my desktop and update to the latest version manually.

Excellent tutorial, clear and concise. I may be the original computer nerd! I have a problem of which I hope someone may be able to help me with? I recorded an album of 12 tracks in media player, but recorded it to 'data disc' mode instead of 'audio', which of course, it refuses to play on other CD players. This is an original album, only ONE copy of which I have stupidly ruined! How can I 'reverse' this process, to go back and fix it? @@xolqck7838 Turns out my Sound Card died :/ . Luckily i had warranty so it was not a problem.U will either have to replace ur motherboard or just buy a USB Sound Card.

Hi, don't know if you can help with this but when I open sounds from the speaker icon on the task bar and go in the record section and click on anything in there the whole box just disappears, and closes this does not happen in the playback section. is there a fix for this? Thanks

My device manager is saying that I have Realtek Soundwire HW Audio instead of Realtek HD Audio. Does it mean that I will never get Realtek HD Audio and Stereo Mix? Is Soundwire an inferior product?

It's worth mentioning that realtec version R2 82 has problems working with win 10. It will load the drivers and work with them but Audio manager does not load. Realtec version R1 82 will work and fix the missing Audio manager. And it will show up correctly in control panel.

This has repeatedly happened to us after updates. We have done that over and over and it is annoying. We went to our computer tech service and they told us to power cycle our computer and it worked - realtek came back. To power cycle hold the power button to turn off computer. then wait a minute - then disconnect plug from wall and then from computer - wait a minute - then hold the power button in for one minute - then release the power button - then wait a further minute - then reconnect power cord to computer and then plug in power cord to wall plug - wait a minute - then start your computer - We did that and realtek came back

When I install realtek nothing new is added to the folder just a few files inside and I have tried several drivers When I try to install realtek using the legacy method in the device manager it crashes and shows a blue screen. I get no audio from the 3.5mm jack. I only get audio when I'm connected via Bluetooth. Help!

Okay, so I have a Realtek PCIe GbE network controller. After the power shut down and my pc restarted due to lightning my Ethernet completely disappeared. I checked my driver and it was there but nothing I did worked. I uninstalled it and installed it again but it said it could be in sleep mode. Of course I looked up the error and I’ve followed every websites tutorial on many things. I’ve reset bios, I’ve taken out my battery in my motherboard, I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but for some reason it doesn’t want to install because of sleep mode. It’s not in legacy hardware so I can’t do that. I’ve done scannow and others. Eventually had to reset PC and try again. It didn’t show up and I think it’s still in sleep mode. I went in bios and changed some settings to see if I could power it on but it’s not showing up. Right now I removed my ram and am waiting half a day to see if that will work. If not it’s my card but I haven’t touched it and it worked before my pc turned off. Im really not sure what to do. I’ve also gotten it to install one time but it was in hidden devices and I couldn’t change the power settings to stop sleep mode because the tab wasn’t there. For the sake of full information, when I reset my pc a mystery 0 PCI driver showed up with a yellow triangle warning next to it in decide manager. But it has the error code 28 so I think it has something to do with my driver being in sleep mode. If it is in sleep mode lmao.

I tried everything and it's not working My dts sht only detects loud speakers but not the headphones no matter what i do. if i choose realtek to be my defualt it only works on loud speakers but not any headphone i get everything are updated to the latest version idk what to do anymore

I have a windows store applet that is useless it only lets me use audio enhancements with a digital output that I am not using not my speakers. I have reinstalled the drivers multiple times.
