Hi Mr Washy, Not sure if it is necessary to replace the pump ??? I would imagine that pump and the PCB board are different problems, trying to get your thoughts on this one as I may be able to learn something new. Thanks in adance
Hi Thanks for the good explanation. After replaced the control board I have dc3 add door error comes up. Do you know what is the reason and how to disassemble the add wash door? It is locked it and can’t open it manually. If you made a video how to figure it out add door unlock and how to disassemble add door that much appreciate. I couldn’t find a video for disassemble the add door exactly same model. Other model easy to unlock the bolts and take it out. It’s difficult. Needs Helps bro.
Hi ,I have the same washing machine , I changed the spider shaft because it was making a noise, and now I have put it back together I have the same problem as yours. before I changed the shaft it was working all good,. Is there any way you can reset this washing machine to factory setting? ps your video is very helpful.
Mr washy, i got issue , my machine motor is running and stuck and sometime its run or 1 turn and stop and 3e error , what yoi think motor control board problem or motor?
There is no reason to replace pumps if the board is bad. If you suspect a bad pump, test it with ohm meter, or better yet, apply AC power to it with a test cord and see what happens. Check with Digikey for the chip, if needed. Many times all that's wrong is a bad solder joint and the component is still good. Resoldering fixes it without buying any parts.
Hi I have washer dryer and doesn’t start any cycles..when I put any program also for dryer lock the door and after few seconds unlocked the door and stop any idea ?
Hi! Thanks for a nice diy! I have this exact model and problem. I can’t find the PCB as a spare though. Do you know where to buy it or do you have a part number? Thanks!
Have a samsung WF45M5500AW/A5-00 front load. Control board needed replaced. Now that the new one is in, it no longer spins. But everything else now works, any suggestions
Hello I have the same model I’ve changed main board and motor, the drum won’t rotate at all it tries to It’s like there’s a brake on , drum is not seased as it spins easily by hand, any advice
Just replace the main control PCB or the inverter drive IC? The video accurately describes the fault and cure but I think your being too optimistic Replacing the main board is expensive and risky as there maybe other damage caused by that board failure. The second option is tricky even for an experienced electronics technician, replacing that inverter IC plus its surface mount resistors that will also have failed plus the additional problems of the silicon potting compound means a repair is very unlikely to be successful. Bottom line; this is unfortunately an expensive failure that would only be carried out as a warranty replacement of the main board, if the machine is outside of its guarantee, sadly it is not economical to repair
Im curious of the same and as the pump is a standard motor, not inverter I would have suspected that it runs off either one of the relays or fets towards the left hand side of the board.
Loom from the pumps runs back up the front of the washer and up towards the front control panel by the left side of the drum. Top connector on inverter board is power in with fuse in line of the top most pin, middle connector is motor output and bottom connector heads up the loom at the back of the washer back to the control panel. Tl dr; pumps don’t run off the inverter.
Because there is not surg protection. When the bubble pump faile they ends up charges the magnetic field when powered up then when the power cuts out the charged magnetic field gose back the way it come in straight to the pcb and good night
hello, if you can help much thanks! samsung washer wf45k6200aw/a2 getting code 3c2 only when loaded down and wont spin. spins fine empty, i can get through diagnostic mode fine. replaced inverter but that didnt fix it. any suggestions?
Hi ..can you make a video for the problem of the small door of the front load cant open / stay lock... Thank you and looking forward for considering my request ..God bless
Hi might be couple of things. Disconnect the recirculating pump wires (there’s two of them connected to the pump ) your washer has two pumps one for draining and other for recirculating water. The drain one is the one close to drain hose so disconnect the other one and start washer. If that doesn’t work could be faulty door switch. Failing that it’s the motor controller on your main board, it’s rarely the wiring to door switch
@@askmrwashywashy no error code, already change new door switch but still have same problem. after press the start button, then will have 3-4 time door lock sound repeated, normally only 1 time lock sound. then the drain motor sound, after that no water and not spinning.
@@williamchua4890 Same for me. I also get the circle of dash lines on the LCD screen. Drum will not rotate. Seems like a motor issue to me but haven't seen anyone share any solid resolution to their problems in the comments yet...
Non inverter Ecobubble 9kgs. Pausing. Reseat all control board connections and good again for a while. did this 2 times already. today cleared a no drum turn with 3e error and last time persistent pausing. Quasi certain that board and motor are not at fault.
A great video. My Samsung is pumping water in, but the drum isn't rotating. I can hear it click and try and start moving. So first job, check motor is turning.
@@learn-live-grow Same! Then it gives me spinning dash lines on all four LCD numbers. Tempted to replace the motor/stator and position sensor but would hate to drop $200 if it doesn't fix it. Seems like a motor issue to me since it refused to move at all.
Never had a piece of technology this bad, never buying another product from Samsung ever again 🤣 can’t believe using a washboard is more effective, a wooden board invented in the late 1700s is better than a Samsung washing machine that’s half a grand 🤣
This is basically how I feel repaired it under warranty like 3 times now it doesn’t spin Fml never buying a Samsung again it’s bloody ridiculous…. My mum had a washing machine for 20 years about 5 years ago she replace it …..
I have a WA50RS5400A series Flex washer upper washer is working fine but the bottom washer is not working properly Water is coming during rise and spinning cycle the direct drive motor rotates when Water comes in during rise time but the machine is not spinning water is draining it means the control board is faulty? not inverter? Please guide
? My washing machine motor turns over but will not spin I have it on the rinse spin cycle tickets to 9 minutes and just turns and stays on 9 minutes till the end of cycle then turns off with 9 minutes still on the display so what would cause this can you help me please before I go buying parts.
Good video, however, this is NOT an easy repair. Even if you can do this, pull out the main board and replace it, you're probably looking at a 200 dollar replacement cost for the main board. IMO, these computerized washing machines are inferior to the standard analog top loader machines. The machines with the LED lights below the control panel are for running diagnostic checks, referring to top loaders like GE, Maytag, etc. I can do without those LED computerized controls, since they are not as easy to diagnose. You really need a repair manual with explicit instructions to operate these systems, and washer manufacturers don't make it easy.
The motor control only controls the main drive motor in rear that was pointed out and the drain pump would have no effect on that board. The main board feeds the drain and recirc pumps and unless you are having drain problems not fixed by simply cleaning out the strainer they should be fine. I would ohm it out if concerned.
You. Can only order parts by model. Serial won't help. No parts store in the country can decipher a serial and figure out what machine it goes to. They need complete model numbers
