Fixing a Stanley Bostitch Stapler model B600 that had the spring fall out. Note, the spring looked pretty mangled and I thought it would be a new one, but once we figured out how to put it back in, it worked fine. Hope this helps.
I want to THANK YOU for your video on fixing my Stanley Bostitch B600 stapler! I watched it multiple times and was finally able to get it back together! I feel empowered thanks to you! You're my hero!
You freaking champion! I fixed my friend's stapler thanks to you! Keep making awesome videos to stop this culture of throwing things out and buying new ones instead of learning how to fix things!! I reckon you're awesome!
I did a search and bingo your video was the model Stapler that came up and lucky for me it is the same brand and model which I have . i was able to open up the stapler, thanks to your video ,(many thanks for taking the time to make this video btw) , but my Spring is Twisted at one end and not in its original spring form. I need a new spring I guess, but hopefully someone may have a suggestion how to fix it 😃 SVP . I am so glad to see People fixing stuff , rather than just throwing things in the bin . Greetings to all who are doing their bit in helping our planet by fixing things, rather than throwing them in the bin.
YOU ROCK!!! Thank you so much for this video. I thought for sure I was going to need a new stapler, but thanks to you...I was able to fix it! Thanks a bunch!!!
As with other commenters, I had a slightly different model, but this video helped me understand how the spring was supposed to thread through and I was able to reassemble my Bostitch 2000 that my children somehow disassembled. Many thanks!
Thank you. My OCD son said my stapler was dirty and he cleaned it. Then of course it didn't work and he had that little T shaped metal piece and the large spiral spring thing. I saw those parts in your video and where they went and was able to fix it. My stapler is not the same brand but it didn't matter. I know I could just buy another one but I like fixing things when I can. Old blue lives on.
My stapler isn't quite the same as yours, but it was an oldy & and a goody. I had dropped it and it came apart, and your video gave me enough info to fix it. Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Thanks so much! I needed to find out how to put the flange back on....this helped so much! I was going to trash my ergo stapler...and this helped me. Thanks so much! :)
For the love of God, may all the blessings be upon you. Thank you very much. It took several minutes (10) but it was worth it. Not the spring I needed to fix but the design helped me figure out how to fix mine. Thank you again very much, Mister. My gratitude rests on your shoulders.
First taking off the black plastic part never occurred to me! However for my model (Bostitch 3175) even with the black plastic off it was still impossible to do your second step (going through first hole and looping under and over into second hole) while the spring was already connected at the place you started. So instead I started at the second step making the spring into the shape of a V (or U) and pushed the spring up through the holes and THEN I connected at the two ends. Worked like a charm! thanks for your help.
hi darlene. i once had a friend named darlene. she almost threw away my cat though. i now despise darlene's. GRRRUGHGHHGRGGRRUHRURHUHH. Thank u, next. ps. i hate darlene's except u. stay strong #girlboss.
That part is tricky, you can see I had some trouble myself. I would guess if your persistent and nothing else broke that should work. If not I would need to know what else may have broken.
