Sorry about the quality guys as I got a new PC I didn't re adjust my quality settings so it is 720p LOL So how this works @Ubisoft 1: One ship carries the items they would like to duplicate - Items can be any crafting material - Or Teeth - Vengeful essence that has no weight and sells for 50 silver each 2: Once you have that in your ship you will sail to the open sea and have PVP activated 3: You attack the combatant ship down to a point where you can crew board 4: Make sure you crew board and they have the items on board then it will give you bonus loot but only the loot that is able to be provided as a bonus 5: Repeat over and over again and this is how the DUPLICATION EXPLOIT is happening QUICK SOLUTION: Stop Bonus loot from activating with Player ships and make it only work with NPC ships. Hope you fix this soon as it will break the game, If you know anyone who has direct contact with Ubisoft please share this ASAP to get it fixed!

Put a max on pvp bonus loot. Easy fix, hope I get to use this before the fix lmao. Good job guys

I have a game-breaking bug that won't let me finish the campaign and would really like that fixed before this is because I can't complete the game that I paid for its the one where you have to Read Kinckel's Scheme in your cargo to learn more about Rahma's Contraband Weapons I dont have the map in my inventory or storage what can i do to progress the mission its just telling me to look at it but i don't have it could be a smile fix as to let me restart the mission anone know how to fix it or is there a patch coming for it

I think that’s the point aren’t you supposed to get crew attack up so you get the bonus for boarding but just I don’t think that’s the bonus they intended for us but hey it’s the only good way to make silver in the game

Are you going to give Ubisoft back the 5 billion silver you just "exploited?"

Fix will most likely be that those items will no longer be lootable from PvP or they will remove bonus loot entirely from PvP (The better fix as leaving it in is essentially providing duplication).

The fix would be to not magically create extra bonus loot. So, for example, say the original boat has 100 essence....with the fix, if you sink the original boat, you would only get say 80 essence, leaving behind the remaining 20 essence in the sunk boat. Additionally, If you would have boarded, then sunk the original boat, then you get the entire 100 essence. No magically created bonus loot!

Maybe Ubisoft just don't care and just let's everyone get super rich and enjoy spending millions and not having to break a sweat for once lol. Isn't this what being a pirate is all about. This is the end game guys! What else could you expect.

Ubisoft should reset it to next season so everyone has said amount of silver, removed essence from warehouse and inventory and you have to start taking po8 spots from 0 po8 manufacturies taken and leaderboards zeroed also. Edit: Either way i bet they have some sort of system coming in play.

So to fix this, they have to take the boarding bonus out. That's the only way to fix this. U can't stop players from doing this . If they take bonus off, then boarding becomes pointless. One thing im trying to figure out, when you take over the whole map and upgrade every manufactory to lvl 10 , then what? Ubisoft going to come out with great news. U CAN NOW UPGRADE TO LVL 20 in season 2🎉 lmao , like why i need 1M PO8 if i cant spend them?

I'm at a stand still now level 10 manufacturers and it cost 36 to 40 thousand to restart , plus you can't to Fort on your own because when you die it goes into recovery, its absolutely fucking Balloch guys , they have ruined the game, I just feel like it's not viable to farm anymore because the silver is poor it just not great

I had fun with this game but, I wish I had just wasted and played Helldivers 2. I would've have saved loads of money and had infinite more fun... I wanted this game to be good so damn bad!

While I understand you're very much trying to highlight this to Ubisoft, what you might have unintentionally done is now show everyone who is short on silver, trying to buy things on either official or unofficial S&B discords, how to do this. There were *better* ways to do this. Create the video, send it to Ubisoft, tweet them saying you want to highlight something - I worry this will do more damage than good. I'm preparing for a market crash. For clarity, I very much enjoy your content but I worry what this might do.

Thanks for the heads up, 1st it was server hoping then the Po8 and downgrading of the factories, now it would appear from your video that unlimited silver or other items are obtainable. Makes me grinding away at the game legit since day -3 seem even more pointless. Its made my mind up not to renew the Ubisoft sub I have, which by luck ends today, would be even more annoyed if it had just renewed for another month. The best fix for this game is Season 2, start everyone at square one again. All my factories at level 10 except the Indies, constantly doing helm tasks to build up enough silver to keep them going = pointless. Farewell Ubisoft, try harder next time.

I actually support this vid as it helps a lot of people who would be scammed of mod their hard earned silver on the ultra-inflated market. I have just sold 4 bananas for 80million silver. Do you think people who don’t exploit can buy bananas for that much??? This video only harms Andy who was selling duped silver for real money and not the normal players.

So it means the leaderboards are completely and utterly meaningless! That kept me playing.

If you use the 'repair after (crew) attack' furniture, it also applies the heal after you board.

Honestly, this doesn't bother me at all like the majority. I can still play the game normally. This doesn't affect anyone's game at all. GTA online ( yes, i know different games) has had a bunch of glitches that players would use so they can keep up with the updates. Maintaining a lvl 10 empire across the seas will definitely break the bank. I applaud those who figured/found this method out.

Honestly, if they didn't mess up the silver so badly in the first place then people may not have even attempted to find something like this. I'm somewhere in the middle on calling it an "exploit" vs in game mechanic. But as someone who works 60+ hours a week and doesn't have the time or energy to spend grinding out silver to fund factories, I can definitely see how this is enticing. I think the solution is somewhere in the middle, fix the mechanic a bit and also let us make silver more like we used to.
