Today we are taking a dive into the new Ubisoft game Skull and Bones and talking through a couple of systems i wish i new at the start of my play time. Game code was provided by Ubisoft #skullandbones
The refinery is a godsend. I had so much material I traded it to my friends so they could acquire the Padawakang ship or however you spell it. lol. Also, water barrels can help immensely if you’re getting chased by high levels ships or players in Cutthroat cargo events where the PVP element happens.
One of the most important things IMHO, is learning to control your speed via the sails during combat, I seen a lot of RU-vid videos where guys go into combat with full sails and trying to maneuver around, IMO this is key to learn if you're looking to survive getting bombarded or torpedoed to smithereens
Insane you talked about cooking and didn't even bring up the 30 min buff you get from some of them. They give really good buffs that shouldn't be overlooked. Having these foods will be crucial I would hope for some of the tougher fights.
I’ve noticed harder to get items shown on the map can also be found near those spots in ship wrecks. Or as floating loot. Just in case you can’t afford to trade, plunder, or sink for your required item
I enjoyed playing over the weekend, but thought "surely this must be like Star Wars Squadrons and cost like $40 since it's half a game." I did a spit take when I went to the pre-order page, lol. I'll definitely pick it up when it goes on sale, but $70 seems pretty steep unless there is something big they are hiding.
That is my thought. A lot of systems arent open on beta. I feel there is a lot more game. I did buy it months ago so I'm playing it for sure. But I do feel a lot was left out for beta to focus on their more combat-focused stress test.
I rarely leave comments, if it all never. But something compelled me to do it this time; you, sir, will be a very successful RU-vidr one day. You’ll either join the bikes of IGN and their counterparts, or make a big yourself. Keep going.
Yea this is how I feel as well. It’s not worth that price + season passes. This is Diablo 4 levels of monetization and compared to it this is a mobile game. At least diablo had a campaign mostly worth its asking price. Calling this an rpg at all is kind of a stretch.
@@TinMan445I do agree that comparing this to Diablo IV makes Diablo look like a mobile game with the amount of microtransactions and theft going on in Diablo with a very basic story and little to no fun
@@idontwanna4205 Microtransactions and theft in Diablo 4? Are you okay in your head? You dont have to buy battlepasses nor cosmetics if you do not like...
@@FrostBeam009 are you okay in the head? Offering a different tint on armor that you already put in the game while charging 20$ for those skins that people believed were exclusive cosmetics to being purchasable and the blatant fact they’re getting sued for predatory marketing practices of having multiple buttons/keybindings that literally take you to buying the battle pass without any secondary confirmation to prevent accidental purchase is blatant theft you r3turd 💀 “you don’t have to get the battle pass nor cosmetics” is not an argument against there being blatant push of microtransactions in the game 🤣
Gamers mad that most aaa game's are terrible and filled with micro transactions. But your more than happy to bend over for them. Your a console gamer arent you?
Actually all you need is a padawekang and fire bombards on all sides. Been "abusing" it for tye whole day after I figured it out. Ship boosts both the bombards and fire massively and you can delete players and AI. I haven't healed in a PVP fight after the bombard discovery lol. It gets even funnier if there's multiple plebs. Padawekang does chain damage lmao
Food food is what is really important, you don't necessarily have to cook it. You can buy it and honestly tracking down all the ingredients to make it myself has just been too much of a hassle. I'd rather just purchase a couple meals from a vendor and be on my way. I can grill some bananas for stamina in between. Meals at takes two seconds but cooking the actual meals. A lot of them require too many ingredients for me to want to mess with when I can easily buy it fully made. It's not like I'm having a hard time finding silver
The harvesting bit makes sense but when the nodes that I mark on the map isnt there when i get there…. Boi does that infuriate me like a mf, but for the most part you are right on that point. With Cobalt ingots though, I found that plundering ships due west of the Mother of all Shipwrecks is far more effective than gathering, thats just my experience from the open beta
I want to play this game. It was pretty good. Not going to lie. They were a lot of things I wanted that weren't there but I could get over. That problem is I couldn't possibly in good conscience. Pay $70 for a game that crashed every 5 minutes in beta and hard crashed my system 20 times to where I had to unplug it in order to get it to restart again
@@JianoJoel That argument never gets old. The game's perfect and has no issues because I personally didn't have an issue. So everybody else is lying or has trash for a system? No way there could be bugs in the game that you didn't personally happen to run into
@@magicpyroninja I’m not expert in game development .. but I would guess the reason it never crashed for my Mac is because the game has been in development for 10 years .. where as Palworlds had glitches every where holy crap
I dont really know what to think about the game.. I think im somewhere in the middle with my opinion... I did enjoy the beta and it was super chill... I just fail to see what you will do for lets say 500 hours in this game..
I got to play the game a while back and the harvesting was brutal. It’s not fun. Felt the beginning of a mine raft game where you have to gather wood with bare hands except instead of doing once you do it for hours. I just want to be a pirate ubisoft
Did we really need a harvesting system in this game? I’m tired of games adding in boring activities to pad out play time and gatekeeper progression. The entire game should be the fun part.
Tip number 6: Wait for the game to go on sale for less than 20$ because you're paying 70 bucks for less than half a game......I was so disappointed in how this has turned out.
Damn, little bro knows it's half a game before the game is even released. Why are you wasting time trolling on youtube and not investing in future major stock companies with that crystal ball you have?
Another brokie from moms basement calling tips. Love the people who played beta for 15mins and have no idea about the full game and calls it shits "cause it doesnt have swordfighting"
