Fix Wi-fi Connected But No Internet Access on Samsung Galaxy Tab A8! 

Nothing worked, it would not work with any network I tried, then I found that the date and time auto update was turned off (settings/general management/ date and time.) The date and time were wrong. Flipped the switch to turn on automatic date and time and everything worked after that

never buying samsung tablet again...so irritating...

i know how to normally get around this, but the Tab A8 is new to me, flight mode on/off worked. Weird, never had that issue on other devices. Thanks for vid !

Galaxy A8 randomizes it's MAC address. I use the MAC address to secure my router. If I did not put your MAC address in my router, you are not getting in. That was the problem. fortunately they gave the option to use the fixed MAC address on the A8 tablet. That fixed it. Thanks for the overview.

On the Galaxy S21 I have seen it stumped just by the network changing from 5ghz to 2.4ghz. Had to reset all network settings and it worked again. It is remarkable how much trouble people are having just doing simple tasks like connecting to wifi with modern Samsung devices. My Galaxy S7 Edge from release has had zero issues in comparison

If this not working then do this Step 1 : go to setting and in that gernal management Step 2 : in that go to date and time Step 3 : than set automatic time set just tick this and see it will work 100%

Got hope for some hours with your video but nothing resolved my internet problems of my S6 lite and TP-Link Decos mesh system. Very frustrating buying 500$ for a mesh system who work perfect with everything in the house but not with our Samsung tablets and cellphone. I gived-up and re-activate my Bell Fibe router wifi (who's not reaching full house in every corners) just for the Samsung devices.... Because our Samsung devices works perfect with the Bell router! Tried many tunings from the net on the Decos configuration and the tablets...nothing works. Just to possibly help some others. Look like there's an incompatibility between those 2 brands (at least with some tablets & phones models)

I'm going to try those tricks to see if I can solve the constant wifi drops on my A8. I've had several tablets through the years and it's the first time I'm dealing with this kind of problem. It's absolutely ridiculous how bad the tablet wireless connection works. I totally regret having bought this peace of trash. I hope you tips can help to ease the pain.

Dude is so annoying i got this tablet for my daughter and she is always crying and is because the dam wifi is connected but it says it has no internet makes no sense. Wtf

When I turn the wifi on it works for a few minutes then it it cuts out and I have to repeat the process.

Change MAC address from randomize mac to tablet mac. This setting is in current network in wifi. Wifi/Current network/setting/view more

samsung tab a8 is it the one with SIM or just Wifi? and can we use whatsapp on the one with only wifi?

Tab 3 here, settings different with not wi-fi throttle option however discovered by removing DNS address internet available again. (settings-connections-more connection settings-Private DNS off)👽

It didn't help with my Samsung Tab7. It just lost connection to Wi-Fi and will not regain it no matter what settings I check/change.

I had a nexus and it always connected and stayed connected. Then I got a Samsung tab 8 inch. Nightmare of slow WiFi. Constant resets, forgets, router restarts .... now have a Lenovo 10 inch. Connects fine. The Samsung is in the bin and never again anything Samsung!

i have samsung galaxy table 7 FE. nothing worked. finally changed my time from 1240 to 1239 (changed the time minus one minute) and now its connecting....but dont turn the auto date and time backon. It disconnected so i had to change the time again. Guess ill just be behind aa minute😜

If you really needed a video to instruct you how to turn the Wifi on and off, or to reset the wifi connection you must be a block head. There is more to this problem than people understand and we still haven't got a clue! Someone get Samsung to stop messing around!
