Fix your golf swing 

The reason why I like your channel is because a lot of the instructions on RU-vid, teach like we’re professional golfers. We’re just weekend warriors that just wanna have fun and get some basic instructions not a whole manual thrown at us.

I'm 88 years old started golfing at 30 and was always pretty good, broke 100 after 5 games. Over the years, (because of the golf channel) tried all that stuff that screws you up. After watching your videos I am now back on track, making better contact and enjoying it. Thank you,

I started to play golf only two years ago at my mid fifties. My game has improved remarkably because of your easy way of teaching golf ! I’m a left handed player and try to implement your instructions ! Can you please publish a video on how to hit bunker shots ?

Finally found someone that I can understand on learning how to golf. I want to thank you and also Manolo.

Today I had an aha moment. Jimmy’s been talking about the backswing and waving hello and I finally got what that means. Basically you keep the face of the club the same all the way up your backswing and don’t roll your wrist back and then roll your wrists through the downswing you’re just asking for trouble. Just keep the face of the club the same, keep your trail elbow connected to your body tucked and keep head down and watch the club make contact with the ball then you can lift your head and follow through- it’s magical. One last piece of advice don’t rush your downswing 70% speed tops and you’ll still hit it hard

Congrats on hitting 10K, absolutely huge! Your videos single handedly fixed my slice by reminding me of two simple things... I'm right handed and somewhat athletic 😂

Your DRIVER is your friend. Don't restrict it to the tee box. It IS a great tool for punching out, or DOWN the fairway. Choke down to the bottom of the grip, with a putting stroke, poke the ball and watch it roll. NOW, open your stance cut across the ball, to create a slight fade, increasing your speed to get the distance you need. Its just a game have fun. I once putted a ball with my driver and almost got two hundred yards out of it. Have fun. Remember, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet?

You’re so right … The #1 swing fault is “over the top”, … and the #1 cause of that is an “arm only swing”. Look at your own demo of the #1 fault … no rotation. Most people would benefit by “TURN your body” (keep the club in front of your torso) with a straight left arm (short arms “cast” the club) and … “wave to the camera” (chest to the camera) 👍🏻 Oh, and as Jack Nicklaus always said, “keep your head still”☝🏻 Keep it SIMPLE 👍🏻 … more good stuff Keep up the good work 👊🏻 o.s. “Golf is Hard” 😂 LOL “Golf happens”

Congratulations on hitting the 10K milestone! Love your content mate 👍 BTW - I think you didled yourself out of 1 stroke! 1- great drive, 3 iron; 2- pushed out of bounds; 3- ball drop; 4- 7 iron under the trees; 5- put off the lip of the bunker, then 2-put on the green 😉 that's 7!

Moral of that tale is if your ball doesnt go on the short stuff, watch where it goes likke an eagle, get a mark, then walk/drive the line without moving your eyes. Find your ball, save your score! Cheers!!

Love the channel Jimmy. My baseball tendencies always creep up during my match. I start off good, then somewhere along the way I revert to bad habits. I've gotta get over the baseball thing.

I've been watching some of the videos and this one was perfect for me. I was lifting and not turning. Then on the down swing that little bump forward then swing was fantastic. I'm left handed and I shot the other week a 97. Because of this video and making the swing so easy I just shot my record low of 87. My buds I played with kept saying that I took some lessons. My 7 iron was going before to videos 140 to 150 ish. After the videos I was flushing it dead straight 160 to almost 175 and making an easer consistent swing. Thank you for the videos and cheers!!!

Jimmy - I broke 90 yesterday from your videos - just playing safe and to the front and easy chip for par pssibility or bogey worst case works! The video where you talk about the 3 most important things gave me my a-ha moment..stay down and look at the ball..you nailed it..my misses were low hooks..by looking and staying down stopped me from turning around and causing the hooks..my god man..you have created a monster. I used to have my right hand too much on top of my club. Promoted an over the top slicing swing. Recently put my hand in the "proper" golf position and it made a world of difference to my swing path and ball distance. Seeing a video from you on how to grip the club would be great.

I usually like in the triple bogey world on every hole but after your videos and some practice in the garage, I hope to be able to play better golf come spring. Also, I noticed in the video that when you explain to keep your hand down and "wave to the camera", when you actually hold the club and swing, it looks like your right hand is actually facing up not down?

Jim, I’ve been trying to get my swing to meet the “crossing the wrists at impact” “lift the club head’. and failed miserably for 18 months. Slicing right, twisting and push the ball left. Damn near quit last December. Then last month I stumbled on your videos… immediately improved. Olin talk, easy explanation… Now I need to get distance back. Thanks.

I wish our golf course had fairways like that. Ours are bumpy, because they don’t have any irrigation for them to grow decent grass.
