Dude, I have a dead Wii U. (For a year now) no stand by light, no power. No nothing. Was that the issue you were having at first? If so. Would you mind showing us the fuse you replaced and maybe the exact specification of it? Thanks.
I did have a blown fuse and I believe it's a 3 amp fuse witch is located right behind the power jack. One way to test if you have a blown fuse is test if you got power coming from the fuse. If not you may have a blown fuse if you don't have any power on either side of the fuse your power supply might be bad.
@@reddoggames3011 Tx for replying. The power brick is working fine. It outputs the correct voltage (12-15... Cant remember off the top of my head). What blows my mind is the fact that blowing warm air through the fan hole made it boot up a couple of times. And the console worked flawlessly for as long as it was on. Changed discs, played for a couple of hours. The whole thing. But as soon as I turned it off it was game over (literally). Does that sound like a blown fuse to you? Could a blown fuse be "revived" temporarily by a BIT of warm air indirectly?
@@sideskroll a blown fuse would usually result in it either working or not if it was blown it wouldn't work but idk how blowing warm air wold make it work again unless it was a loose or bad solder.
@@sideskroll true. Have you opened it up? Maybe there's dust build up that might be shorting something out or causing a bad connection to something. If you haven't already maybe try checking if there's anything like that
Oo yah there triwing screws... I forgot idk what you tell you you can try to uses a straight screwdriver but they make those triwing screwdrivers you can buy them
