Hey guys so I picked this up on eBay for £10. But when I got it the plunger was a bit sticky so rather than sending it back I thought I’d try and fix it, as it’s a half decent indicator and for a £10 I can’t complain.

Baty are good quality Darren, they were one of the most used in factories over here before we started seeing Swiss, Austrian and Japanese gear. You got a bargain there. Oil is not a good thing in these, I know it feels like the right thing to do but as it evaporates and decomposes over years, it is one of the main causes of the stickiness you had when you received it.
