Jared, Thanks for this video. I've had my caddy for several years & it has leaked from the beginning. Not sure how you figured out the missing O Ring, but it worked great👍👍👍👍👍!
Thanks for the video and modification tip. I was about to spend $180 on a new GPI pump and then try and figure out how to attach it to the non-standard bung but the O-ring did the trick.. Thanks!!!
The teflon tape you used didn't look like it was rated for fuels. Also, please check the O ring you used to ensure it too is rated for gasoline. Cheers!
thanks man...i bought one of these and the pump didnt work. got so fustrated that i lifted it to the tailgate of the truck and poured the gas into the machine i was working with..will try the o-ring trick...wish i ahd found this sooner...THANKS!!!
He doesn't know the exact size, he told you guys in the video that he bought a kit and eyeballed it. You may have to buy a few and test and tune it like he did.
I appreciate the review and have been interested in one of these tanks, but very little legit reviews of them. How has it held up since the o-ring replacement/installation? Has the fuel level gauge worked? Thanks
NCSUME1 fuel gauge doesn’t really work. I just shake the tank to feel what’s in it! The tank leaks a little but when cranking the pump, but nothing like it did before. At least it’s useable now.
@@jrodjared Thanks. There are a lot of these out there at all different price points and they all seem kinda crummy. Might as well spend ~250 and modify vs 450 and have similar issues. Thanks again. PS. Decent hand pumps cost as much as this rig
seems more like an Fup that made it passed QA, unless folks are complainng left and right about the same issue. if i ever have an issue with my vevor, i'll check to see if it's the same issue
