Fixing a Moldy VHS Tape with Sticky Shed yndrome - Hand Winding 🤬🤯 

You may want to try a food dehydrator. It's a common and well-tested fix for tapes with sticky shed - "baking" them at about 130F for 24 hours or so, and then cleaning the residue (which you could presumably do with the VHS Cleaner machine you've got there). That will tend to fix the sticky aspect, at least for a week or two - enough time to transfer the tape.

This looks one of those jobs that seems fascinating and both boring and enjoyable at the same time.
