Although my broken wire is still interfering with smooth operation, and I have to take it to a shop, I’m so thankful for your video - it helped me feel like I tried everything I could do. Thank you for taking time to post!
Your a Godsend! THANK YOU!!! Although, mine stop swinging over on it's own, I have to push the front with my finger...uhg..little springs..yay. Thank you for your video
It’s a fiddly one, I’ve a Janome and a Bernette sewing machine and even though the brother looks better quality threader it’s really not. It’s not as easy at all! This is on my 1 needle embroidery machine I’ve just gotten and with changing threads so many times you really need this to work. I’ll be trying your way to fix the issue tomorrow, thank you! 🙏🏼
Oh my god, thank you your a life saver I’ve been up all night trying to figure this out. I was going to try to take it into the shop tommorow if not for this
Hey Ok so this video may help me but idk what you did… idk where my spring is to tell if it is broken or out of place. Did you close the hooks you mentioned or what exactly did you do besides put the thread inside the eye yourself (manually) then test it by pulling the automatic threader?
My hook goes on the side of the needle instead of going through the eye of the needle. I have tried bending it the other way but there is not much space. What can I do? My machine is Brother se1900.
Okay so what do I do if my swinging motion doesnt work for the hook piece. Once I pull the lever down it's not doing the swinging motion towards the needle eye
@@swaters3462 i was able to fix my problem by manually raising the needle with the circle thing on the side. once it was aligned, it worked. I'm on the se600. you should try it out. hope it works
My brother se1900 doesn’t open up like that:( and idk what’s wrong. I was just trying out my second design (with the same thread color)and all of a sudden it’s not embroidering or the thread itself is not moving. I tried re threading couple time still nothing. On the last try, I thing it threaded only with the bobbin thread :( so I gave up took the thread out and turn it off. But to make sure everything sounded okay I turned it back on just to see, and it’s making this stuck up kinda noise in the needle area 😞please help idk what’s wrong
My understanding is that the presser foot should be in the down position, not up as you have it here. I’ll check the needle position, too, to make sure it is up. Like Lamar, my lever goes down, but it does not swivel at all to finish the threading process.
thank you so much! My needle was not all the way up, I had to turn the knob, it raised the needle and I was able to thread it! I was scared I broke my machine, and I just bought it
