Fixing Bilstein 5100 squeak on my 2003 sequoia. Importance of retightening once suspension breaks-in 

My suspension has been squeaking for about a month now when driving on uneven roads. The squeaking happens over any size bump it doesn’t have to be a dip or pot hole just driving over uneven pavement caused a minor squeak, very annoying when driving with the windows down. Finally got around to fixing it. The recently installed Bilsteins had settled in and the top nuts on the shocks needed re-tightening on all 4 corners. It was most noticeable in the back where the washer between the nut and the frame could be wiggled pretty effortlessly. Once tightened the washer had zero play and no more squeak.
