Fixing Bitten Overfiled Nails With Acrylic Nail Extensions on Forms

Anna’s journey is incredible. I never had nice nails. I had hang nails and thin, weak nails that would peel and grow in all sorts of twists and shapes. I started with press ons and noticed my nails getting even thinner! After following you and others on RU-vid I got my first polygel extension kit! I now do gel nails and I regularly have to shorten my nails. They are also growing straighter and I almost have a c curve. It’s almost like the extensions have trained my nail beds. Anna used to have cuts on her cuticles and redness every time you did after photos. i am so glad for her that she doesn't chew the skin too anymore. it is a hard habit to break but she's doing an amazing job.

I was here for the very first video of Anna’s journey, I love this series the most because my nails are pretty much the same as Anna’s. I have struggled my whole life with nail biting, and it’s difficult to stop, especially when so many people tell you “just stop biting them”. I’m a little better about the habit, but Anna has inspired me and I hope to grow strong beautiful nails someday ❤

I so wish it were easier to find nail techs like you who really care about doing a good job. I've been to about 20 nail salons in my area, and at every one, no matter if it's a cheap place or an expensive place, they just try to get me out of there as quickly as possibly, and hardly do anything but a polish change. Almost no cuticle care, and they also can't be bothered to get the polish close to the cuticle.

I still can't believe how far her nails have come. What a massive improvement!

It must make you feel so good inside to see the transformation in her nails and a client who actually listens when you tell them to do something. I just can't believe that those are the same fingers that looked like they went through a meat grinder the very first video of them that you did. Now I do my own (thanx a bunch to Anastasia) I’ve worn everything from short to 10X length and love showing off my hands. I even got the nickname of “Ms. Cuticle” because I’m very picky now about my pictures. Cuticles are equally as important as the nail design. I see many beautiful nail designs with disgusting cuticles and the picture is ruined IMHO. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Anna it’s totally worth it!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes, it is amazing to see, she has longer nail beds, and an actual free edge! These are such good signs, and I really love it! I used to be a nail biter, but now my nail beds are long and nice. I have a friend who has thin, short nails, and I wish to help. Should I use only builder gel? And no free edge in the starting point?

So true about nail biters needing to have something on their nails. I can’t go with bare nails or I will bite them down to bleeding. Always need to have product on them.
