Had a fit with mine. Move the carriage manuall with my hands back and forth several several times about 20 times and it final squared everything away. Now just need paper. It printed on my electric bill but it needs plain white paper to align properly.
my epson stylus photo had this same exact issued. this method worked and after getting it loose from being jammed. i applied some lub to the rod that the carriage is sliding on. now it works like new, thanks.
After dropping my HP deskjet 3520 the Carriage Jammed. Tried a few other methods without success but this one worked after a couple of tries. Its a force fix, but it worked.
