Hi Hasan, My sunroof on my 2004 lx 470 is jammed and doesn't open. there seems to be some sort of movement when I press the button. what do you suggest I do?
Hi. If it’s making a clicking sound. Motor should be good. You can test it by just pulling motor out. In most cases rails of sunroof gets jammed when it’s not used for a long time. You can try pulling down sunroof and getting new rails. But best option is to replace the sunroof assembly for guaranteed functionality. You can find a used one from any parts truck. If you are local to me (Los Angeles area) I’ll have a working unit next month.
