The Frontiers trailer is sort of like the 'Showdown' trailer they showed later on. CGI models, some of The End's lines, some cutscenes and gameplay in between, and some of the story.

Unpopular opinion,but I think it's a good choice to have licensed music in Sonic game trailers as it gives it makes it seem a bit more special to me(I don't know how to explain it,I just think it's neat.) Look at the Crash 4 trailers that used Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim and Go by The Chemical Brothers. Combine that with the cinematography in the gameplay, and you have two banger trailers.

I love the idea of Sonic listing to My chemical romance. Sonic music rock with emotional lyrics so I think it could work! Also Sonic calling Shadow edgy only to sing a song like Welcome to the black parad would be amazing. Thanks for these btw

That part Sonic in the open zone at night into the boss cutscene was pretty smooth Showing open zone and Cyberspace after “Tear down the walls between dimensions” was smart Showing Sonic fall into the title and get up after was really good

It does seem like sega has learned from frontiers with sgc showcasing shadow gens, where they the best pick? No, but unlike the ign footage for frontiers, it atleast got the point across, ofcourse fadel came in clutch and showed us how to do sonic gameplay footage, seriously, he made the game look really good, anyway, my point is sega has learned when it comes to trailers aswell as gameplay footage

A lot of Frontiers footage, and almost all of Generations’ footage, was recorded over a year ago, as this video has been in production for a very long time. Back then, I had the game at lower visual settings for the sake of performance. This is also why the trailer was recorded at 30 frames per second, as opposed to 60 with Forces, which I started working on this week.
