Gorgeous rides! I'd definitely loctite those screws. A small dab or adhesive at the interfaces would help wonders as well; urethane. Likely not your daily, hehe. Cars, you can actually work on. ;)
I have an 81 vette. My drivers mirror is just like this. I looked up the mirror in the assembly manual and it does not show those two interior screws. Unfortunately I need to take my door panel off as well as loosening the glass etc…..big project. Do you think that an 81 vette would have those two interior screws? Thank you
I looked around on eBay, I enlarged one of the pictures and it looked to me there is a screw and maybe a hex head nut in their so it definitely looks like you can tighten it up with one or both of those options.
