The quality of your videos is fantastic. A buddy of mine put me on this Volvo V70R series as we both love the V70 and now V60 series. I have a 1993 Saab 900 Commemorative Edition that I'll be putting some similar, much much needed work into over the next few years and watching this series just makes me want to get a move on even faster. Love the content. Picked up a 2005 s40 T5 manual awd last month to work on. Swapped in the s80 v8 haldex controller to get the awd to be a little better. Looking forward to the spring when I can work finish up some maintenance before adding some power.

Hey! Cool find in the junkyard! I would recommend you go back and get the side mirrors from the junkyard s60 because they have the turn signals in the mirrors! Would be cool on the R!

Man I used to watch your film channel back in 2019 I think it would've been. My v70 died a couple weeks ago and I am picking up an 05 XC70 this weekend. Trying to get more excited but some annoying work like a timing belt replacement and getting new all seasons on the car are in the imminent future. Surely I'll be more hyped once I'm driving it home and can just get those chores done asap

My buddies and I had an S60 R that got in a small accident. We ended up replacing front and rear bumpers wheels lights grille and molding with a base model. Wheels were 15s off a xc70. It was a true sleeper and looked sick

get a color matched paint is very hard especially for a bumper that flexes. Would always recommend a used oem bumper to a new aftermarket respray.

FYI, You can buy painted bumper covers direct from Volvo. At least you could 4 years ago. If memory serves, it was around $1K CAN.

You have to put the R bumper back asap. Yeah the other one looks okay but the R is something completely different and absolutely gorgeous!

On the P3 there are only two connectors. One for the Xenon and one for the pop up washers. The bumper swap kind of makes this a wolf… looks normal on the outside but underneath it has a hammer. Cool…

You could convert the headlight washer system to spray your intercooler.

hmmm i've got t5 and i have these headlight wipers and i think that standart look or r look are the best front bumpers so my t5 is kinda unmarked with standart looking bumper and my car makes 7.3 sec. to 100 kmh from 7.1 stock and have insane grip on start i love these car i own it for about 2 months.

The high beams dont actually suck on the Rs. Once a you do a SUM calibration they are awesome. The headlightrs suck when not calibrated correctly lowing springs screw up the calibration too.

Manual swap is awsome considering I love the videos so much but , enjoy the auto man you have had this car for like 3m only

I think removing the wipers is pretty standard. My xc70 has sprayers which is much better but the times I actually need them are few and far between

Man that gunk behind the fender is always nasty, emptied the passenger side of my Golfs fender and there was atleast a few kilograms of straight up mulch in there. The fender was so rotten because of it that it could be easily bent with finger force 💀

We are not gonna discuss about that R32 GTR in the back 😮

Might be worth cleaning the driver side fender as well as with that much dirt inside might start to rust internally

I know what a hassle can be with wheels. For exemple I bought beautiful 19' wheels for my volvo 5x108, they are OE for Peugeot but patern of holes is appropriate BUT the screws for Peugeot are M12 and for Volvo M14, and... there had to be a modification. As someone said in the real world not everything

I feel like this is the equivalent of putting a standard 3 series bumper onto an M3. R should definitely have an R bumper
