A lot of people in the comments are saying they love the design of the old set. The nail tech must have been very new. Sometimes when you're first starting out it takes a little while for your technical skill to catch up to your artistry and creativity. I'm sure that nail tech will improve, they definitely have an eye and talent. I hope they continue to work on their technical skills.

I'm curious🤔 At what point does it become easier to just clip them off and start new? Is it more of a lifting thing? Would starting fresh mean damaging the client's natural nails? 😆I'm just a baby tech and and all advice is appreciated
@NailsbyMeesh

That’s hard to say sometimes. Sometimes you think it’s a simple fill and it’s really not. I’ve learned the hard way - I’ve spent over an hour just removing old product because it lifted SO bad that I had to go so gently down to the natural nail - not my rule is - Do not fill work that is not mine. Clip them off and start new is what I would do. The lifting on these weren’t bad I think they were her natural nails.

Soooo cool ! I love this design, it’s so unique! How did you come up with that idea? It turned out awesome !! You did an excellent job of correcting the set without taking it all down with your e-file or soaking off and starting all over. It’s often times so much better to correct than to put the natural nails through a total removal. The previous tech’s design was super pretty, she has talent and with a few lessons on shaping along with more practice with product to nail ratios, she could be a master tech. I love that you talked about what needed to be fixed without totally bashing the other tech which completely admirable . You are a true artist & I just love your videos 🤩👏🏻👏🏻

Every time I want long pointy almond nails, they tend to over file the sides similar to hers! Except not so severe. I notice it looks curved from the side and I don't like it! I want it straight from the natural nail. Is that still possible with a pointy almond shape? I know they need to angle the shape to make it more narrow but I hate it and I always end up cutting my nails short once I notice it happening.
@CapOfNayeul

I once had my nails done and they weren't wide enough on the side just like in the video. I didn't noticed it at first but it soon became obvious and it's all I could see. I like the design on my nails but I removed because the shape was so bad. Now I only see one person that I trust because I can't afford to pay to have them redone if they're badly done the 1st time... I really like the design you did with the matte and chrome, it's very original and a good contrast! I like seeing videos like this, it's always very interesting!

What brand of polygel do you use and what brushes do you use with the polygel? Just curious! I feel like my polygel brushes fray quickly from cleaning them and using 70% alcohol as a slip, so I’d love to try a different brand

Why do you always take down all the product before you do the nails even when it's one of your old sets? Can you not refill and is that not too much stress on it? I'm just curious
@NailMasteryByTatyana
@NailMasteryByTatyana 2 года назад
I usually take down the old product to a thin layer, but not completely, and only if the old product doesn't need to be completely removed. This just gives the natural nail an extra little layer of protection! 😊

They look a million percent better. It’s beyond me why some people do nails at all. It’s just for a quick buck I guess. But they should care more for their clients. I’ve had plenty of terrible manicures and finally found a good spot. The previous design was a nice concept though. Just poorly executed.

Sentence " the worst I've ever seen"! Very arrogant and nothing educational in that sentence. You should keep your opinion to yourself, not cement other people's work in that way! If your goal is to be educational and help someone understand where they are going wrong, then also show and educate others so that other people's work is not commented on in such a humiliating way! .. pointing out mistakes is one thing, but using words like "worst ever etc" is very arrogant and selfish because I assume that you were never a beginner and that what you think is perfect and good is only good! Terrible attitude and it's not worth listening to you, regardless of the fact that there are things that are educational! Good luck!
