If you have a Grand Design Travel Trailer (or likely another model camper) and you have found that the table that folds down to a bed doesn't seem stable you might want to consider this modification that we did. After 1 season of using our table/bed very carefully we still had to have to the top replaced because it cracked, this was mostly because of the way it was installed but I'm sure that using it as a bed didn't help even though that is what it was made for.
Brandon came up with the idea to create this system using 2x4s and adjustable table legs (I'll add an affiliate link below) to create a brace to provide extra support to the table when using it as a bed. Because the legs are adjustable we can make them shorter for easy storage. We only show one in the video but he built two of these, one for each side.
We've done two trips using this system and the difference is night and day. You can sit on any of spot of the table (bed) and it is very strong and we no longer have issues with worrying that the table is going to break. Highly recommend doing something similar to your camper bed/table if you are having similar issues.
