Did you figure out and fix the brake issue? I have a 75 Cargostar 1710B with the same brake problem you were having. The pedal will build pressure after 4 pumps of the pedal but goes back down to the floor.
Dang. I've tried searching for a new hydroboost booster and those seem to be hard to come by... Let me know if you are able to find one (I am assuming I have the same problem!)
