Fixing the Leoch Power Station OCP Error In this video i'll be showing you the process of fixing the Leoch Power Station step by step by teardown and inverter replacement.
I contacted Leoch support back in March '23, and here was their response... "According to your description, it seems that the power station needs to replace the inverter. Are you willing and able to receive repair parts and handle the parts replacement? Look forward to your reply." I replied several times to this email, and no response. I also noticed that the OCP error and beeping occurs while using the inverter AND plugged into the wall outlet. Interesting. I am still looking for a fix to the problem. I guess I will start the process again. Thank you Applisense tor making this video.
I took paid for it on the kickstarter program. it took over a year to get it. I used I as a backup for my refrigerator . Seemed to work. Then I tried to use it to power my motorhome. Well that's when the AC outlets stopped working. It still charges cell phones and fans and 12 volt things. I contacted leock they told me to send them a video of what It was doing. No response. A year later it still holds a charge and Powers up 12 volt things . I used the 120 volt outlet once testing it and it worked for a minute or so then quit again. Hope we all can find a part or place to get it fixed. Thanks for this video ! How can I get a new inverter???? Keep me in the loop, please.
A fix for OCP error and beeping error is beacuse of burnt sm resistor on bottom of the Inverter R6. (521 code printed on it) I replaced the resistor with a 520 ohm thru hole resistor 1/4 watt soldered to the sm pads. Also P1 topside 3 leg transistor has no heatsink, they get hot! I put heatsinks on the two of the 3 leg transistor above R6 topside. Now works no more OCP errors.
I also bought my power station through kickstarter. My unit had the first OCP event less than a year later. Leoch customer support told me to drain it and then fully charge it, this worked for a short time. Now I cannot turn on the AC outlets at all. Since Leoch customer support is not responding does you replacement inverter have a part number or model number we could use to order our own?
Thanks for making the video. Two questions: First, have you seen the OCP error since you replaced the inverter? (Yes, I know it has only been a couple of weeks). Second, how did you order a replacement inverter? If online, can you share the link to the purchase site? I'm getting an intermittent OCP error with grid power input only, as a UPS, but I can't find anything online where someone addressed an OCP, other than you. Did the inverter replacement fix it?

@@rooboo2901 Thanks for the info given. I opened the cover of my Leoch Power Station and checked the board of the inverter looking for R6. I found one R6 but it is written 100 on the resistor and not 521. Also, there is one transistor to-220 nearby. At this point, I didn't find another R6. I am not sure if I have the right R6?
Im getting an error code rrr E2 on mine. Also shows 00% charged. Plugged in and unplugged multiple times. Still not charging.I reached out to their customer service, but I haven't heard back. Any ideas?

I have the same overload error as soon as I hit the 120 power button also no pulsing light and shows empty after it sat on charger for a few hrs I am guessing I have same problem sucks mine in 26 months old from the kickstarter campaign. How much did it cost to repair
