Mike making a horn blowing sound through the exhaust is something I'd do 😂😂

Those engines also have a problem with their water pumps . We found that the pump is grossly inefficient to the point of starving one cylinder head of coolant flow. The best way to check is to disconnect the flow return lines to and from the pump run a couple of lines into a bucket filled with coolant and then start the engine and let it idle at 500 rpm. Once the cooling system is bled then remove one hose from the bucket and time the flow rate. The minimum flow rate is 10 liters per minute at 500 rpm.

Listen to the Ferrari when he first starts it with new manifolds. Rev shit out of it and turn it off straight away trying to hide its still leaking. Another quality mechanic job done

I still enjoy the show in its new incarnation. Btw... has anyone ever had a random Ed appearance? He was on a episode of chasing classic cars one time at a pre 1910 car race. My god...you have no idea how big he is until standing next to other people. It’s funny and surprising.

The car is assembled by lifting the entire drive train Into the chassies. Reverse the process and access will be excellent. Familiar problem with Euro cars. Each component is well designed for the task. Repairing is not a consideration.

This is expensive parts? I had a joke of a car, a 2015 Audi SQ5. Fast, comfortable, and a complete nightmare. I never took it off road or abused it, yet all tires worn by 11,000 miles, $450 per tire just for the tire, and back then there were only two manufacturers. At 9,000, rear brakes started squealing. Took it into the Audi dealer, and all the brakes were worn out. They wanted $3000 for the brake jobs and repair, and $1000 for a failed rear caliper. At first, it was going to be under warranty, then Audicare said no to the dealer, who went and said I had to pay for it. I went back and forth with screaming matches with the dealer. I got the brakes repaired for 1/3 the price at Goodyear, but they had to buy a special computer that Audi and Mercedes require to set the caliper! So, over $4,000 spent on a brand new car in less than a year. My friend bought the Q5 version, and was driving down the road and heard a bang, and the back of the drivers seat blew off, with all the plastic holders broken. A few days later, the passenger's seat did the same thing. Audi refused to cover that under warranty too. I could have bought a GT4 and enjoyed the heck out of it at these prices. BMWs have turned into garbage as well. What kind of a world is it when Italian cars are starting to be a better value when it comes to service and dependability than German cars?!

If this was Ant, they’ll show Ant point at the crack and tell the viewers it needs to come off. Then the next scene would show the exhaust already off. No scenes of Ant struggling or figuring out how it should come off.

What a bummer they dumped Ed. He was the core of this show. Christ, even I could go buy junky cars and car parts, but Ed is the guy who makes everything work. And ffs...the guy can stitch together a Ferrari better than most master techs could fix a honda civic.

time to let it go lads. i like ed too but i don't get all the hate about mike or ant. i dont watch the television but the couple of new clips i watched of the new show were fine, ant seems like a nice fellow and mike brewer acts like the shrewd asshole but it's just an act stop hating on people.

The ‘halcyon’ Days ofnthe Programme, it was still too formulaic, corny and contained too much of daft banter and far too much of Mike but far more enjoyable than the later versions with less Ede, once the Yanks bought the show it went really Pants and the current series is awful despite Ant being a good bloke.

Edd was the show ,,, I think there was another annoying guy that was on it too , but he really didnt do much other than look like a cheesy used car dealer , i guess an estate agent would have done instead , or a banker ,,, come to think of it , Mike was a bit of a banker.
