A lot of these cars were bodged. I’ve checked the MOT for a number of them and a lot had failures even a year or two after the show. Either the budgets were rubbish or rushed jobs to get a car looking OK but not done properly.
Edd China made Wheeler Dealer he was he was the show I haven't watched it since maybe a few Ed took compassion and care with his work and all Aunt does is there for fame and a paycheck
Just looking at the car with the badly repaired dents and all the filler used along with the visible rust bubbles I would be suspect that the former owner(s) mickey moused a lot of repairs on the car and that's how they bought it on the cheap.
He tried. It had a pilot, wasn’t very good and obviously never got picked up. Edd’s Garage Revival. It’s on RU-vid. Spent most of the show doing the headlining in an old Golf and the rear brakes. I can see why it wasn’t picked up for a series based on that.
They won't explode, obviously. But they will fragment if you bang them right. The shrapnel can then hurt you badly. Same consequences as explosions. Has it never occured to you that the 'busters pseudo-scientific conclusions are only half the truth, and that they are based on flawed scientific models ??
@@PenzancePete Dino's were initially not Ferraris. They were a brand of budget cars, manufactured by Ferrari. Quite like a Bentley is manufactured by VW, but is not a VW.
Never really rated Ed as anything more than an average mechanic, the new guy is actually more skilled. Ed got too big for his boots,,,, nobody is irreplaceable .
Agree. Edd bodged a lot of things. Ant is an engineer. He restored cars that sell for world records, he fabricates more than Edd (like making an exhaust system from scratch) and had a company designing and building bespoke cars. Edd is fine but Ant is an artist. However so many people hate on Ant for not being Edd, just refuse to believe the truth.
Edd is also an engineer, check out his portfolio. The American version with Ant was big budget, that meant time & money was not a restriction to level of restoration.
